I am sure someone will come up with a good sinus blend, but there is a

massage sequence that I find very good and it helps drain the sinuses.

I would first try an inhalation of good sinus oils, to loosen things up and

then try this. Hopefully I can explain it!

Three simple moves.

1. Place your thumbs firmly on the inner brow so that the sides of the thumb

are against the sides of the nose . Slowly and firmly press up and bring

the thumbs up onto the eyebrow and press along to the tip of the ear. You

can also press along on the brow as well.

2. With 2 fingers press from the tip of the ear down the sides, past the

ear and slightly behind it.

3. Continue down under the jaw slowly till the windpipe and with your head

slightly raised slowly continue down each side. You will automatically stop

when you will probably get a slight cough reflex.

This is called a sinus drain , and it sure helps..

Regards

Jeanine.

BTW, Here in Auckland New Zealand it is so humid, we were pleased to have a

little rain last night so we could sleep. I have only ever been in snow once

in my life, and cannot even imagine what it would be like to have wind

chill !!

equal parts of eucalyptus, spearmint, and peppermint EO's.. works great!

Hi Donna,

If it were me I'd use a Neti Pot regularly to flush my sinuses of

irritants and other junk as well as look into drinking Nettle tea as

Nettles are long renowned for their ability to support the sinuses.

I've used a 2 parts water/1 part hydrogen peroxide mixture in a nasal

spray bottle before and had it clear up a bad sinus infection.

Hi Jain,

I have asthma, recently I purchased Eyebright and Nettle Tincture. During the fall my nose gets runny and I sneeze all the time, if I dont' do something it goes into a sinus infection. I am amazed at the results I am able to obtain by using 25-30 drops 3-4 times daily. Wonderful stuff. Do you have an herb or health food store nearby? They would have this, or you could order something from Doc. His formulas are amazing and I recommend them highly.

Sheryl,

Sorry it took so long to respond, but I just got this

message.

I have the same problem. There are a few things I

have tried, which did help, not counting surgery.

First, have you been checked by and ENT to make sure

there is no major damage? I had/have a deviated

septum, which has caused problems. Had surgery in

2004, but lived in what we later learned was a mold

infested home, so it ended up becoming worse.

Something that works well is called Sino-Fresh. It is

a nasal spray that you can find in many pharmacies. I

also will use a colloidal silver nasal spray.

Usually, I switch back and forth, if I get bad. Last,

I use a saline nasal wash. That is where you squirt

that saline solution in one nostril and it should come

out the other, though mine doesn't. This cleans your

nasal passages of foriegn debris and keeps them clean.

Hope this helps.
