Hi

This is very important.

I would like to know what is the basic way oleander works/heals,

or where(url) to read about it?

I ask because my mother has complications because of her pancreatic cancer(blood

clot, then bled somewhere inside while taking blood thinner, we say because of

too much thinner they give her, some say theres no connection, butr for sure they

are giving her too much of it anyway), and i want to make up my own mind as to

whether she

should take it or not.

thanks!

Olivier

Hi Olivier,Well, thank goodness you are getting a second opinion. And please, do not apologize for writing a long post. I understand your concern for your mother and you need to make everything clear. With regard to the intricacies of the workings of Oleander in the system, I am going to defer these questions to Marc or Tony, as they are the experts and will be able to reply to your questions in full detail. I assume that she stopped bleeding at this lower dosage? Also Olivier, may I suggest giving her cayenne tincture? This should stabilize her blood and insure proper circulation. My Best to you,

Hi ,

thanks for your reply.

Hopefully some of the experts in here wil lbe able to answer to me

how the oleander work its way into the system, how it acts, its

actions etc, so i can decide if i start my mom on it or not.

(With her internal bleeding issue that she had some days ago).

Yes the bleeding has stopped, but the thinner dose she

receives, 5000ui, is ridiculously low right now.

ANd the Doc made sure to tell us this isnt a safe dose,

that he wouldnt reccoomend this, but that if this is what we want

for the short term until we get a second opinion, its our choice.

(the alternative was the surgery right away, which we werent sure about).

This guy recommended, instead of the fragmin which makes her bleed(at least the

too high dose he gave her), a small " umbrella " in one of her vein, so that if a

blood clot from her leg, it would stop

and be blocked at this umbrella in her vein.

We want a second opinion, because for her weight, and especially

after 30 days, when the dose is even lower, she should have 10 000ui,

which may not make her bleed - and we re hoping they ll try this with her.

I will look into cayenne tincture, but right now we re hoping

for a somewhat quick second opinion, and hopefully some tests

will be able to see where she bled.

Thanks for the info on the tincture tho. Will look it up.

And thanks for making me feel ok to post these thing : )

ahh...

I wish my mom could at least have a shot of having hope,

being able to at least follow some of the oleander/budwig protocols.

That alone would be great.

thanks again : )
