Speaking of liver cleanses

Coming out of lurking here to get what feedback there might be.

A week ago I finally pulled myself together to do my first ever liver flush

using the Curezone protocol--nonfat morning followed by epsom salts, ending that

day with the olive oil & fresh GF juice, then more epsom salts next morning.

Results I got & things I learned:

1)With my mineral ascorbates C-Salts mixed in, I found the roomtemp epsom salts

to be quite tolerable

2)Despite assurances to the contrary, I did get, and stay, hungry

3)Despite great doubt, I found I almost liked the GF juice/olive oil combo

4)When I went straight to bed after taking GF juice & oil, I had plenty of

action and goings on of some sort in my gut and the whole thing resulted in it

taking a long time to get to sleep and a very restless night

5)Had plenty of diarrhea to show for my efforts, but not any sign of any

floating stones or 'chaff'

So, while I'm glad I went ahead and did it once I'm not inclined to again give

up 2 days, a night's sleep, and stablized blood sugar for what appears to be

nothing more than an induced case of diarrhea.

At 60 years old I figured if I was carrying around a load of stones needing to

be dumped it was time to find out, but it appears that is not the case. So, I

guess I'm just after any thoughts anyone may have, and just wanting to make sure

I'm not totally missing something here.

Thanks & blessings to all,

Judy

Hi Judy

Many people do not “see” results with the first cleanse. The best results come with repetition. You will just be

scratching the surface of years of accumulated toxins with only one Liver

Gallbladder Cleanse. I always recommend repeating a Liver/Gallbladder Cleanse 3

times in a row with a break of 7 to 10 days (more for those who are in a

weakened state) between each cleanse.

We have become a “show me” type of society in just about all

aspects of our lives. However, because

seemingly nothing was observed does not mean there was nothing accomplished,

especially when just one cleanse has been performed.

Also, this is not clinical diarrhea; this is the result of the Epsom salt. The

causes of diarrhea are usually temporary health concerns such as an

infection or virus, or chronic problems such as an intestinal disease.

I don’t know if the CureZone protocol requires fasting or not but there

are cleanses that are just as effective and one does not have to fast. In fact the one I recommend does not

require fasting but instead foods that help to cleanse and support the liver.

To this day (nine years), I still perform 2-3 liver cleanses

every year and I don’t always “see” results that many would

suggest comes with a successful cleanse, but I feel much better and it definitely

keeps me in better health.

Dr. L,

Thanks so much for your response. It's always helpful to hear another

perspective.

I did take a look on your site. However, I am not in a position to afford any

more supplements than I already do and will shortly face reduced income and have

to somehow eliminate some of them.

Since I deal with candida and hypoglycemic issues, I learned a number of years

ago to quit doing fruit for breakfast and to include protein whenever I eat. So

your protocol does not look like a good fit for me.

That said, since I have been cleaning & improving diet for years, never did

heavy trans fats, don't have heavy drug history, have been sugar-free and whole

grain for many years, etc., do you think it is at least possible that I am not

carrying that much of a liver load?

Also, I forgot to mention that for the last month or 2 I have been taking

dandelion & milk thistle as liver support with iodine and adrenal supplements.

Thanks again and blessings,

Judy
