I have damage to my heart from rheumatic fever as a child . Doctors said where my damage is the heart doesn't fill up with enough blood so I feel tired all the time like CFS. Any suggestions appreciated. I was 11 when I got it my parents wouldn't listen and have my tonsils removed and I kept getting strep throat all the time. I wasn't able to walk for 6 months then couldn't do any physical exercise for a long time and was on antibiotics for a year nasty penicillin. My legs still ache and hurt to this day and I'm 55 yrs. old but remember the pain well and use to beg my parents to rub my legs they hurt so bad doctors also think that is why I have had rheumatism all my life because of the fever.
