Guest guest
Hi, My partner has been on a few times and he has been given some good advice on this site so I am hoping that someone can help me. He has colon cancer with mets to the liver. He is on the full anti-cancer protocol and 4 teaspoons 3 times a day of the Sutherlandia OPC but he has been having a lot of problems with his stomach. He got HCL to take before meals and activated charcoal for after and that has stopped the stomach spasms. However, today his stomach has been givng him some serious pain again and tonight he actually collasped on the floor in pain. He is sure that all the pain is down to wind but if it is what can we do to help him with it?? And if it is not then what can be causing all the pain?? I am so worried about him and I would really appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thanks Marie
Guest guest
Marie - How long has he been on the protocol, and how long at the larger dose? Does he take Garden of Life Primal Defense, cayenne pepper and/or ginger root? Digestive enzymes including bromelain? How about colloidal silver? All of those have been known to help ease stomach distress, though the cayenne can take some getting used to. Is he doing a once a week full day's fast of nothing but either watermelon, dark grapes with seeds, juiced vegetables or water? Now, the watermelon and grapes days can cause some discomfort towards the end of the day due to the fairly thorough cleansing of the bowels that will occur, but it will clear the gunk out. Also, is he regularly cleansing the liver, doing coffee enemas and taking coconut oil, beetroot juice and the anti-oxidants and supplements that help keep the liver protected and regenerated as well as keep the bile ducts open and flowing (Milk thistle, selenium, alpha lipoic acid)? Curcumin is a must as far as I am concerned for colon cancer. Best taken with meals to avoid stomach distress. The S/OPC could be divided up into smaller amounts - say two teaspoons six times per day. Guest guest
Hi Tony, He has been on the whole protocol for 7 weeks but he has been on parts of it since about June. He has been taking the OPC since January but not regularly. He has been taking the larger amount for the last month. Yes he is taking Garden of Life Primal Defense and he has just this week started taking cayenne powder but he is not taking ginger root. He is also taking digestive enzymes and colloidal silver. He isnt doing a weekly fast but he has lost quite a bit of weight - would it still be a good idea to do this? He has been taking coconut oil and doing coffee enemas but again not regularly. He started taking beet juice today. He was also really sick today. Do you think this could be because of the high dose of OPC? Or could it be because of his liver? He is taking curcumin but he was taking it on an empty stomach so he will start taking it with meals from now on. Do you think him being sick and his stomach problems are a sign that he is getting worse? Thanks for your help Marie oleander soup , "" wrote: > > > Marie - > > How long has he been on the protocol, and how long at the larger dose? > > Does he take Garden of Life Primal Defense, cayenne pepper and/or ginger > root? Guest guest
Regarding the Lugols, some people have a reaction to that form of iodine. It is my understanding that the nascent iodine in magnascent is easier to tolerate. That could be part of his problem. Guest guest
Marie - Additional stomach discomfort could be an indication that he has reached the point in his protocol where the cancer is being effectively attacked. As you said, he has only been on the whole protocol for 7 weeks and only on the larger amounts of OPC for a month. No, if there has been significant weight loss then perhaps a weekly fast day would not be a good idea - but I think that at least one a month would be and I will reiterate that all possible positive steps for the liver and bile ducts should be taken. In addition, it would be a good idea to look back on all the good suggestions here about ways to add protein and fight against weight loss. Finally, I will point out that the best possible thing to do would be to find a naturopathic professional who has the ability to properly monitor and test. Sometimes that is difficult to do, and often they have their own preferred regimen. Oleander is still not very widely known after all. But there is no substitute for seeing someone who can personally examine and monitor a person compared with people who are merely doing their best to give the best information and opinions they can via long distance internet communications. Sadly, mainstream medicine has little interest in researching alternatives to treatments and drugs they can patent, control and profit from - and so that leaves the rest of us to conduct our own searches and hopefully, sometimes by trial and error, come up with the best information we can and share it amonst others like us who are searching for true healing instead of mere symptom management. Despite all the obstacles and the lack of professional " credentials " , we still appear to get enough of it right to make a difference over 90% of the time - and we keep trying to push it closer to 100% as best we can. All the best, oleander soup , " infomcf " <infomcf wrote: > > Hi Tony, > > He has been on the whole protocol for 7 weeks but he has been on parts of it since about June.
