Dear Marva,I totally agree with . Hang in there and keep doing what you are doing. You are such a blessing to your husband and he is so fortunate to have a loving wife who cares so deeply for him. It is OK to feel overwhelmed at times and that is what we are here for - to help support you as you support your husband.I don't know if your husband is in lots of pain and that is why the doctor is saying it is inhumane. Is he doing coffee enemas, or maybe this isn't even an option for him. There is a certain psychological barrier to it. I know it helped me a lot initially after my surgery. I have a scar that goes from the distal end of my breast bone to my navel and then all the way across the left side of my abdomen. They had to retract my left ribcage during surgery to

remove my tumor. So I did have a fair degree of pain - and being a redhead apparently I have a very low pain threshold!

However I was off any pain killers within 5 days of leaving hospital and I credit that to the coffee enemas. They helped me so much on so many different levels and I literally credit part of my vitality and my life to them. I know lots of people have survived cancer without doing them, however I simply know how fantastic they are. They may help your husband, too. Please don't feel pressured by what the doctors say. Follow your heart and do what you know to be right for your husband. I have been on many, many doctors rounds and I know what is said to the family at the bedside. He/she has to tow the party line! I also know what is said to RNs like me who question things and want to know what they would do if their wife were lying in that bed. The two versions don't always coincide. I know many well-meaning doctors, and whilst I take their advice into consideration, always consider the

alternative and then do what "feels" right. God gave us intuition for a reason. Follow your heart and you will do what is right. My prayers and thoughts are with you,Blessings, Eva.
