Guest guest
Hi - I know this isn't oleander related and I apologize, but this group seems to have the most generalized knowledge. I asked a dentist about removing root canals and he thought I was out of my mind. He said to find out what " you all " would recommend instead. I'm assuming just pulling the teeth and maybe a bridge or something, but thought I'd better ask before I get myself into more trouble than I want. What do you think? Thanks. Guest guest
Actually your message is very much cancer and disease related. See the artielc I posted here earlier: "Could Root Canals be the Root Cause of Your Cancer or other Illness?' by Bill Henderson and found on the front page of my website: htp://www.tbyil.com In my opinion, you need to find a biological dentist who will remove root canal teeth, or teeth needing root canals according to mainstream dentist - one who will make sure to get all of the remaining roots out to prevent dental cavitations which become disease factories. All the best, oleander soup , "waikikilights" <waikikilights wrote:>> Hi - I know this isn't oleander related and I apologize, but this group seems to have the most generalized knowledge. Guest guest
I had all my amalgams out, and have been discussing my root canal teeth with my holistic dentist. We are waiting for the new zirconium implants to be available here, and then I will be having one of my molars replaced with that. I believe bridges are the only other option besides implants, and titanium implants have their own problems. Regardless what your decision is, the first step is to find a good holistic dentist that you can trust. I bet your dentist would argue if you said you didn't want his toxic fluoride treatments too :-) Daniel >> Hi - I know this isn't oleander related and I apologize, but this > group seems to have the most generalized knowledge. Guest guest
As I understand it, the problem with root canals is they are a breeding ground for bacteria. Since you have a sensible dentist, perhaps you can get him to put some silver, pure silver, not amalgam, in the tooth cavity to stymie bacterial activity. I have successfully babied several root canals by swishing with EIS (electrictally isolated silver), near daily brushing with a 30% dilution of oregano oil/70% olive oil. Once a week or so I brush with a few drops of Lugol's Iodine. Healthy mouth in spite of all the non-original equipment. waikikilights wrote: Hi - I know this isn't oleander related and I apologize, but this group seems to have the most generalized knowledge. Guest guest
I would be interested in knowing more about what you are doing since I have several root canals and can not even imagine what it would cost to replace with all silver, thought a great idea. What is EIS and where would one get it, and regading the oregano oil, I assume that is an esential oil and where is the best place to get it and as for the Iodine, I have read about that in Hulda Clark's book. I hesitate to use that even though not ingesting, as when I have had ct/scans with contrast which is iodine I get an horrific rash, the dr. always tells me it is not the iodine causing it as it takes a few days for the rash to develop, but in fact it always does in a few days. I would give it a shot however, thanks for the info. Guest guest
WARNING, If you are planning on having your root canaled teeth out, or are going to do any other electable dental work, be sure to ask what type of anesthetic they are going to use. If they say articaine (Septocaine) you should REFUSE this. Ask for lidocaine or better yet, Novacaine. Articaine is a 4% solution, twice as strong as lidocaine or novacaine and it contains a thiol ring (sulfer, similar to DMSO). This prodcut, which is a strong acid and neurotoxin, penetrates thru bone and soft tissue bringing the articaine with it. As a result, it can damage your lingual or IAN nerve. All studies show a dramatically increased risk of nerve damage from it. Why am I posting this? Because I am one who has permanent nerve damage to my lingual nerve from an injection of articaine. The burning, searing pain and altered taste sensations are horrific and can last a lifetime. I'm 2+ years into my nightmare. Please be careful. If at all possible, do all dental work without any anesthetic... I do and the peace of mind knowing I won't suffer damage is well worth it. Life is almost not worth living with this pain, trust me. Guest guest
Daniel, Good for you. This is a very intelligent choice. In case you're interested, there is a device that will rid your teeth, gums, and tooth roots of any bacterial infection by sending a small 3 volt DC current through the tooth or root. This current kills the bacteria instanteously. It is called the Godzilla, or the newer wireless version the God Rod. Go to microelectricitygermkiller group on for pictures, info, and schematics. You can make one for less than $10. It is beautifully simple and effective... in fact I've never known it to fail. Toothache... no problem, gone in about 10 minutes. Guest guest
Here is an article that discusses the issue: http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2009/08/08/Be-VERY-Careful-Wh\ en-Replacing-Missing-Teeth.aspx Since you already have the implant, I would read all the sources for the article and do more research on the issue. Being healthy is so expensive! If only insurance companies would pay for the things that actually keep us healthy! Anyway, for me it's a no-brainer since I haven't had the root canal pulled yet. Also, I was lucky enough to have an awesome dentist that told me about the zirconia--otherwise I probably would have done the titanium too. Guest guest
Hi Bob Have been meaning to chime in and update on my experience with the Baby Godzilla for a tooth infection. I have crowns on my teeth so it was looking like I would lose both my bridge and the infected tooth until I saw your message a while back about the Godzilla. I went out and bought the bits to make one - cost a HUGE $8 in Australia. Probably the cheapest medicine I ever bought! It took less than a half hour to make then I treated as per instructions. The tooth throbbed quite a bit both during and after treatment. I didn't get relief from the throbbing until more than 24 hours later but it wasn't so painful that I needed to take anything for it. I did think though that it hadn't worked so treated again. Once more I got the throbbing. I spoke to you here about it and got some good feedback. Treated again a couple of days later then left it alone. It was a few days after that when it returned to normal and I have had no trouble with it since. I feel the tooth is quite decayed and am hoping the Godzilla has helped with that too. I recall you mentioning that the Godzilla would kill the tooth decay - or am I imagining things? If this is so, do you think it would be worthwhile treating the whole mouth every month or so to stop decay? Thanks for sharing this info with us. It has been a Godsend. However he would only consider removing root canals for people like me who have dealt with cancer. There is another holistic dentist in QLD who specializes in root canals. If you like I will ask my BIL for the info. He just had 2 removed and one of them had a bad abscess at its base. The holistic docs think this may a huge contributor to his RA.Cheers, Eva. ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ __ http://mail. Guest guest
Apparently some dentists do the extractions. I was just told the zirconia implants are now available and my dentist is working with a nearby oral surgeon to provide them. I will be following up in a few months--need a new year of insurance to kick in. Guest guest
Hello Karen, I'm so happy the Godzilla has helped you. Yes, the DC current kills the bacteria in the tooth and root, so it should halt the cavities and any progression of bacterial infection in the root. If you go the the microelectricitygermkiller group you'll see a new wireless device you can make as well.
