Guest guest
Thank you Mary, I won't give up. We have been fighting for almost 4 years. The doctor said my husband is very ill with mets to so many areas that he couldn't believe anyone in this condition was alive. He expressed that the pain from his cancer would become unbearable.and told me I should call hospice and let him go peacefully. Yes, he meant let him go. I can't do that, but am concerned about the pain he has now and that it will become unbearable. He will be at risk to fractures and the doctor said if that happened he will not walk or stand again. He cannot stand on his own now. I will keep fighting. Thanks for your support, Hugs, Marva In a message dated 9/29/2009 11:14:34 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, mary1kon writes: Dear Marva. I am having a difficult time as scans were done on my husband today and cancer also found his spine, right leg and liver, stage IV sqaumous cell carcinoma. They thought he had pneumonia and hospitalized him, however it turns out it is the masses in his lungs. I will keep doing everything I can, but the doctor told me today it is inhumane to try to keep him going as it is amazing he is alive with what he has going on. I am having a hard time, not to mention what my sweetie is going through, but your kinds words meant a lot to me and you are appreciated. Thank you, Marva In a message dated 9/29/2009 4:39:40 P.M. However it was clearly from Cesium. I was also told by the vendor of Cesium that I would have lots of very loose stools. A couple of months ago I went up to 6 capsules of Oleander and I had no effect. I actually felt like I was constipated. I know we are all wired differently. Guest guest
Dearest Marva,Please know that you and your husband are in my thoughts and prayers. The decision to put him in hospice is up to you but keep in mind, that in some areas of the US hospice is withholding proper nourishment. Don't leave his care up to them, you keep control. And shame on the doctor for telling you to "let him go." God will decide that, thank you. Take one day at a time and you have people here who love and care for you. Please know that we are here for you. I send you all my love.
