dosage of new product- too much of a good thing?

I ordered the new product through Utopia Silver and continued on the same dosage

as Sutherlandia OPC. I noticed that the new product contains 200 mg Oleander per

capsule and the Sutherlandia contains 66 mg Oleander per capsule. Since the

switch, I have noticed nausea, diarrhea, and sore muscles throughout my stomach,

back, and legs. Continuing at the same dose is almost 4 times the Oleander per

day. Is this okay? Has anyone else reported similar side effects? I am trying to

figure out if this switch is what is causing my symptoms, as I also started

Enercel around the same time. Currently, I am taking 6 capsules per day. I am 34

years old with Stage IV colon cancer. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank

you!

Actually, each capsule of the new product contains 100 mg of oleander versus 66 mg in the S/OPC. The 200 mg is the amount of the standard dosage of 2 capsules (one capsule twice daily). Continuing at the same dose is only 33% more per day, but it could be that the increased dosage will require getting used to. What manyhave found is that you begin with a small amount of oleander (for the original "oleander soup" home remedy version it was suggested to begin with as little as half a teaspoon or less and work your way up to one tablespoon three times daily), and if you have any side effects (many don't and some do), wait until your body adjusts and then gradually increase the dosage, allowing time to adjust with each increase.

I cannot find any reported side effects for Enercel - but I note that it is basically a very high priced homeopathic type supplement, containing very small amounts of a handful of herbs. Though it lists a number of reports and studies, none of those have been published in peer reviewed journals, and thus are more anecdotal in nature than actually scientific. Now, I am no great fan of scientific studies because I have seen how they have been manipulated on behalf of mainstream drug makers and against natural competition, and if Enercel appears to help you, more power to it. It surely does cost a ton of money for what amounts to such a small amount of herbs though.

You might want to cut back to four capsules per day of the new product and then increase to five and then six if need be. In some instances, the maximum dose is now considered to be as high as 10 capsules a day - although there should be no need for that unless a lesser amount fails to get the desired results.

More oleander is going to result in more cancer cell die-off, which in turn is going to result in more toxins in the body that must be released. That could result in increased initial pain at the cancer site as well as some other pain from the toxins (similar to the muscle pains felt by distance runners and other athletes from toxin build up) until they are processed out, primarily through the liver. That makes it imperative, in my opinion, to pay special attention to keeping the liver cleansed, protected and regenerated and keeping the bile ducts open and flowing.

All the best,

Thank you so much for your response. Yes, my muscles are sore, and I

mean very sore. The muscles in my back are aching from my neck through

my buttocks. Also, my abdomen is very tight. I do appreciate your

feedback on Enercel. I am not convinced about it either. My doctor

thought it might be worth a try.... How long does it usually take for

the muscle aches to subside? Is the abdominal tightness also " normal? "
