Guest guest
Broccoli greens taste somewhat like cabbage/collards and beet greens are like spinach. Beet greens do have some oxalate in them, so do not over do it. Carrots I have no knowledge of. Guest guest
Hi, Robyn, I have juiced carrot and beet tops, but haven’t had an opportunity to juice broccoli greens (have juiced the heads and stems). I don’t see why there would be a problem. Guest guest
I always thought it was best to very lightly steam broccoli as it is considered a goitrogen in its raw form.Eva.--- On Fri, 9/11/09, Bob Banever <bbanever wrote:Bob Banever <bbaneverRe: Juicing greensoleander soup Date: Friday, September 11, 2009, 5:10 AM Robyn, Of course it's ok. Guest guest
Eva, There is a difference between broccoli and broccoli greens. It is the green (leafy) portion that I juice on occasion. Never got goiter!
