Anxiety is a mood condition associated with uneasiness, fear, or worry that

occurs without an identifiable menace. It is different from fear because the

latter occurs in the presence of an observed threat. Additionally, fear is

relieved with behaviors of escape and avoidance, however, anxiety is the result

of threats that are perceived to be uncontrollable or unavoidable and therefore

there is not an easy way to get relief.

Common Anxiety symptoms are heart palpitations, fatigue, nausea, chest pain,

shortness of breath, stomach aches, or headaches. Physically, the body prepares

the organism to deal with a threat. Blood pressure and heart rate are increased,

sweating is increased, flow of blood to the major muscle groups is increased,

and immune and digestive system functions are inhibited (the fight or flight

response). External signs of anxiety may include pale skin, sweating, trembling,

and pupil dilation. Someone suffering from anxiety might also experience it as a

sense of dread or panic.

From the point of view of brainwave entrainment Anxiety is an overabundance of

higher Beta brainwaves. Likewise, a lack of alpha and theta waves is observed.

One undesirable consequence of this condition is that some people lacking these

vital brainwaves often turn to external substances (such as alcohol, tobacco,

and drugs) to induce the production of these brainwaves, providing temporary and

potentially dangerous, relief.

Fortunately, there is an easy way to reduce anxiety with a natural treatment: it

is by stimulating the brain with alpha and theta waves. An anxiety reduction

session based on these waves has proven been a very relaxing therapy inducing

the brain to a state of light relaxation and has been proven incredibly

effective with Anxiety and Stress disorders.

By using relaxation focused sessions regularly, you can not only reduce anxiety,

stress, and cravings for external substances. but you can also increase your

brain's ability to produce these brainwaves, allowing you to better deal with

anxiety in the future.

This is very interesting and may be a useful tool. In fact, I may try this out. However, although the definition of anxiety below states that it is a mood condition associated with uneasiness, fear, or worry that occurs without an identifiable menance, although one may not be able to pinpoint the stress, there is a source of that anxiety and that may be deep down within our very being. The constant uneasiness and fear we constantly experience is brought on by silent triggers in our life that we very often do not recognize. The source of this anxiety very often goes back to our childhood and while it is good to deal with the anxiety externally via supplements, music therapy, etc. One must also do the work in discovering and resolving the underlying source the best they can.

Besides using these means, as with everything else, diet and lifestyle changes must be addressed. Removing stress from one's life, becoming more optimistic, building self-esteem. Learning how to laugh and enjoy life.

All healing must focus on our entire being, body, mind, and spirit.
