Guest guest
Autumn, Not a good idea " grasshopper " . There are amazingly talented and generous people on this list. I have learned masses from Marge Clark and Butch Owens on this list. I think Martin Watts is in this list and he is also a major talent in aromatherapy. There are some here that practice and share their knowledge of native American herbal arts. This is a kind list that does not chastise newcomers and us oldies alike for our lack of knowledge. Stick around. Pick their brains. Lurk and learn as I do. Read some good basic aromatherapy books. I like Valerie Wormwood. Go to Marge Clark's website, scads of information! Ask us questions. I have made soap for 10 years plus. I can help with that as well as many others here. I love this list and it members. Hugs, Jan S sweetprairie May your troubles be less, your blessings be more and nothing but happiness come through your door!
Guest guest
Thanks Jan, I can see that there are a lot of learned people here. But its just not the right group for me at the moment. I am just starting and I think that when I have done a lot more reading and studying I will come back. I have already been made to feel rather foolish here by two someones so I will return if allowed when I can speak at least a little more wisely. Guest guest
I don't know what happened to make you feel bad but if it's info you want this is a place where you know you are going to get honest information. When I first started on this list a year or so ago I knew about eo's from what I read online. The info didn't always seem safe or consistent. When I found this group I asked a lot of simple, basic and sometimes dumb (at least in my opinion) questions. But it was the only way I got sensible, honest reliable information on essential oils. I wouldn't hesitate to ask any questions of this group-someone will help and usually very politely. Guest guest
Hi Mike Please accept my deepest condolences. I am saddened by your loss. You have been a wealth of information and have helped so many, many people. I wish you much peace in the days ahead and success in all your endeavors. Blessingsl Loretta Hello Members My wife, Lori, died Wednesday evening after a five year struggle with breast cancer. She was eleven days past her 51st birthday. We fought it with everything we could come up with. She had a bad five years punctuated with some wonderful highlights. The very last few days were horrific. I want to thank some of you who have provided information as well as moral support the last couple of years. You know who you are. I will be leaving all the cancer forums I belong to by Sunday night, after Lori's service. I need to get back to my normal life. I wish you all the very best futures you can possibly have. Thank you. Guest guest
Mike, your loss is indeed our loss. Believe me, I know and feel and extend those feelings of empathy. Strength to you in the next days, weeks, months and years of "getting back" to life. This is another road to travel down after traveling down the road of caregiving and suffering the loss. Just try to remain focused on all that was gained. Guest guest
Hello Mike I am so sorry to hear of Lori's transition and yet I rejoice for her. I am one who believes that we graduate from this earth plane to one of perfect love and beauty....to await our love ones. I wish you all the very best as you move forward in your life and carry out your soul purpose. The process of life and the evolution of our spirit sometimes create situations that are great learning experiences for us and even though we may suffer, there is nothing that can quite compare with the sweet pain of life. Many blessings. . Guest guest
Hello, Mike, My deepest condolences in the loss of your wife. You will be sorely missed on these forums. I always read your posts because I found your comments of value. There was a recent Alan Jackson song, " Cissy's song " , that you may find helps ease the pain for you as it does for me. I hope you decide to come back in a while. Guest guest
Mike, My sincerest condolences to you on the loss of your beloved wife. We must redouble our efforts to find cures for cancer and other degenerative diseases. We must never stop searching for a cure, there are hundreds out there for us to find. I continue to believe marijuana oil is perhaps one of the most natural and effective cures for cancer, thus. I now recommend anyone diagnosed with cancer to follow Tony's protocol but NOT STOP THERE and add the oil if it is legal or feasable to do so. Nothing is effective 100% of the time, and nothing works for everyone either. With the exception of Hodgkins lymphoma, I do believe chemotherapy should be universally avoided whenever possible. It's easy to say what not to do, it's more difficult to advise on what should be done because none of us can say with 100% certainty that what we are advising will work. All my best to you, you posts will be missed as they were always informative and educational.
