Order question

Hi - I just joined this group, and hope to order Sutherlandia OPC. I live in

Panama, where they do not have residential mail delivery. The only way I have

to get anything is to have it first sent to a mail forwarder in Florida, and

then they send it to their office in Panama, where I pick it up. I'm not too

concerned about Panama customs, because we've ordered all kinds of supplements

and nothing has been stopped so far, but is there any problem getting it to the

US? I realize this is likely a crazy question, but I've been reading

traditional medicine's warnings about not using this and it not being allowed in

the US except in clinical trials, so now I'm paranoid. Thanks in advance, Jan

Hi Jan,

Welcome to the group.

There is no problem in receiving Sutherlandia OPC shipments in the United States. However, it does take about 10 days to two weeks for delivery from South Africa. In the next few weeks, Oleander capsules will be available through Utopia Silver, which is based in Texas and this will facilitate delivery.

Are you friends with any business, even your local grocery, where it could be

sent directly for you to pick up?

Oleander grows in Panama. You might try making some.you should ask around maybe your neighbors or friends have some.Put out a message on Americans in Panama or one of the other gringo . I think it used to grow in Amador on the road to the causway .That was over 30 years ago when I was growing up there though.

Well now, that may be a thought. The only people we know right now who have any kind of store are our landlords, and they have a general merchandise store. The problem is that they just go to the free zone and buy what they need, bring it back to their store, and sell it. So they don't have stuff shipped to them. If they need anything they get it the same way we do -- through a mail forwarder. I think that may be the way it is with all stores -- even the grocery stores, because of the customs issue. Nothing, zilcho, nada comes directly into Panama unless it comes in someone's suitcase. Makes for fun and games! I'll check, however, with the one and only health food store in the entire country. They might be able to work something out. Thanks for the thought. Jan--- On Sun, 8/23/09, tedsanford
