Guest guest
I totally agree. Everyone wants to add to it to make it better when it was good in the first place. I have used Essiac in the past because I was having terrible health problems. I got mine from a person who sent one the 4 original herbs mixed with the instructions. This was enough to brew a gallon. It was very cost effective. When I decided to looked for it in the health foods stores just to check it out, I was astounded at the prices. I will be happy to give anyone her email address for the asking if you are interested. I'm sure her prices have gone up since herbs have gone up in price. I think the price when I bought it was $10 for the gallon. She had cancer and used natural remedies to overcome and that was years ago. Edith In a message dated 8/20/2009 6:14:37 P.M. Most claim theirs is the original recipe of a first cousin to it, and it is allvery costly. So you know I'm not just throwing about an unfounded opinion, we (dh & I) tried theFlor-Essence tea for a couple of months and found it to be a bit weak. We then orderedsome herbs and brewed our own according to all the instructions. While it is highly touted as the cure, I found it was a waste of time, effort and funds, withthe added benefit of making me feel like a sick patient.hth,Rachel
