Guest guest
Dear Erika, I believe it probably depends on how quick your metabolism is, and how much you exercise. If you are not exercising then all the extra calories you aren't using are going to be stored as fat. But I really doubt it is the same amount of time for all people because people live such different lives. A good idea would be to eat in proportion to how much you move around. hope this helps - Lane Andy and Erika Wood [simplepleasures2]Friday, December 10, 2004 4:11 PMherbal remedies Subject: Herbal Remedies - caloriesDoes anyone know how long after you eat is your body using the calories from the food you ate? And how long before they turn into fat if you dont use them? recently someone I know somewhere cant remember where or who said 8 hours before they turn into fat does anyone know. Guest guest
Hi there, I admit that I know nothing about this area at all, but I would suspect that this whole thing is a little more complicated than a straight formula of "FAT = CALORIE INTAKE - CALORIES BURNED". I believe that the factors would also include how efficient your system is - are you actually absorbing your nutrients well? How well are your organs functioning? How many other situations (like acidosis) is your body fighting at the same time? Are your elimination channels working well? I believe that if you were eating GOOD FOOD and your body was in PEAK HEALTH, then you wouldn't get fat, no matter how much food (good food!) you ate. Your body would use what it needed and eliminate the rest. I think that the body stores fat because it has no place else to put it (blocked elimination channels) or it's too busy with some other situation (acidosis, disease, etc) or more likely - both! Just my thoughts on this... :)Best, Kelli goldenpoems [goldenpoems] Friday, December 10, 2004 3:34 PMherbal remedies Subject: RE: Herbal Remedies - calories Dear Erika, I believe it probably depends on how quick your metabolism is, and how much you exercise. Guest guest
Sherri Carol gets about 2500 calories a day in me of which about 800 or so are from fat -- mostly cocnut oil or cocnut milk. She uses an inexpensive blender and a strainer to turn everything else into liquids. Fife's books on cocnuts can be gotten from Amazon Hope your day has gone well --- Duke Most illness is caused by eating chemically treated rotting garbage from the Super Markets. Guest guest
Hi Duke, Thanks for the info. I will go out and buy coconut oil and milk tomorrow. This past weekend, I started pulling back from the tube as much as possible. Today Jim wwent for chemo and when they did the blood test his white cell count went up a whole point to the normal range. Could it be that we are now doing the right thing? Only the budwig for now but have ordered oleander extract. Could you please have your wife send me a few recipes using the coconut oil? I need to try to get him as much calories as I can if we are to leave this * & * & tube. I really appreciate your help and support. Thank you tremendously, Sherri - Duke Stone oleander soup Monday, August 17, 2009 3:08 PM calories Sherri Carol gets about 2500 calories a day in me of which about 800 or so are from fat -- mostly cocnut oil or cocnut milk.
