Guest guest
My husband has been diagnosed as terminal. 49 years old, health conscience, non smoker, non drinker, and runner. Doc's say they will keep him on carbo/taxol for remainder of his life. I am ready to try oleander and have already started flaxseed oil/cc, have him on high amounts of fish oil supplements that I give through jtube. He takes 2000 IU's vitamin D. as well as Bcomplex sublingual. He cannot take much by way of mouth except for soft foods but cannot swallow pills. At this time, he is very active and continues to work but is very tired from chemo. Sorry for the long post but I am scared and am looking for answers. First, can the oleander extract go through his jtube mixed with his nutritional supplement nutren 2.0 which he takes in 3000 calories per day to maintain weight. Secondly, what dosage shuld I start him at? thirdly, I am scared that I am going to kill him and would like some reassurance that this is okay. Sounds pretty lame since he already knows that the cancer is going to kill him anyway! Lastly, should I wait until it is marketed by a U.S. company, forgot the name? But heard that it is on the way. I appreciate any feedback you all may have and am new to this site and this cancer as well. Diagnosed 6/4/09 weight 185 @ 6'1 " finished 28 days of tomotherapy on round 3 of taxol/carbo CAT scan on 8/7/09 revealed mets to liver. adenocarcinoma esophagus stage IV2b Sincerely, Sherri
Guest guest
Hi Sherri, Welcome to the group. First of all, let's put the word "terminal" out of our vocabulary and focus on "life." The liquid Oleander should be fine for him to take through his feeding tube. You can order it at http://www.sutherlandiaopc.com. Utopia Silver will be carrying Oleander shortly, but I'm not sure of the time span and I'm not sure if they will be carrying the liquid version. Tony and/or Marc will clarify this when they come online. This is the recommended dosage for the Sutherlandia OPC Liquid: Suggested Dosages (Cancer, Hep C, Neurological problems) Sutherlandia OPC (500ml Liquid) Start off by taking 5ml (1 teaspoon) once per day during mealtime for 2 days. Increase dosage to 5 ml twice per day with meals for a further 2 days. Increase dosage to 5ml three times per day with meals for 1 month. If no improvement, increase dosage to 10ml three times per day for 2 months. If still no response, the dosage can be increased to 45ml per day (3 x 15ml) When in remission, the dosage can be reduced to 10ml per day for at least a further 3 - 6 months And this is the protocol that he should be following while taking the liquid. Do as much as you can and maybe Marc and Tony will have suggestions as to where he can get the supplements specified in liquid form. Protocol for cancer (1) Take the Sutherlandia OPC regularly. (2) Cut out ALL animal proteins (meat, milk, eggs, yoghurt, fish) as well as sugar. If you are worried that you won't get enough protein, then take un-denatured whey protein. (3) Get rid of stressful situations in your life and put past traumas behind you otherwise they will surely kill you. (4) Go to bed by 10:30 pm (5) Drink enough water (6 - 8 glasses per day). (6) Eat only starches, vegetables (excluding potatoes) and fruit. Carrot juice is a good example. (7) Get at least half an hour of direct sun per day. (8) Do a liver cleanse every 4 weeks until you don't pass any gallstones. (9) Take 200 micrograms Selenium per day with your food. (10) Take Inositol/IP6 as suggested in Tony Isaac's Anti-cancer protocol (/anticancer.htm) (11) Add curcumin as a supplement (as per the work of Dr H Kremer). (12) For very advanced cases of anti-fungal infection, take a prescription medicine like Nystatin or Diflucan for 2 weeks. For those who do not want to take prescription medication, take an anti-fungal like Colloidal Silver or olive leaf extract on a daily basis. (13) Take 1 teaspoonful of Black Seed Oil (Nigella Sativa) 3 times per day after meals. (14) Take 2 x 600mg Time Release capsules of N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) with fruit juice three times per day on an empty stomach (to help the body synthesize Glutathione). If wasting (weight loss) is already advanced, these amounts can be doubled. There are reports that high dosages of NAC can lead to the loss of Zinc, Copper and other trace minerals and it may be advisable to take a trace mineral supplement to prevent this possibility. Is he still planning on taking any type of chemo? I would dismiss it if he is. The chemo is doing him more harm than anything and at this point will not help in any way. It will just serve to destroy his immune system which is already severly compromised. It is this immune system that must be built up. Another thing that I strongly suggest is that he follow A Natural Anti-Cancer Protocol . I understand that he cannot swallow supplements, but see what you can get in liquid form. Also, he should take Inositol/IP6. This is a very important cancer fighting supplement. He can get this supplement in powder form at http://www.utopiasiver.com . Please use their coupon code LR001 to receive a 15% discount if it is not on sale. This discount is good for any of their supplements. Iodine is also another very important supplement. Otherwise, please go through A Natural Anti-Cancer Protocol and do as much as you possibly can. Carbo/taxol? Is that a form of chemotherapy? Why will they keep him on this for the rest of his life? Another valuable site that you can look at is http://www.cancertutor.com. "Sounds pretty lame since he already knows that the cancer is going to kill him anyway!" We don't know this Sherri. Only God does. Doctors are not God. Try to focus on new found healing. You have come across this group and we will do everything in our power to help your husband while supporting you. Guest guest
idk, but i think the amount of active ingredient would be higher, maybe much higher via j-tube as it isn't subjected to the stomach and its digestive action. my dad has stage iv inoperable stomach/gej cancer, trouble eating, and a j-tube ... so i've been lurking and learning and wondering the same as sherri. Guest guest
--- Hi Duke, Unfortunately, he had to go on tube feedings because esophagus was completely closed and was not getting anything including water. He is gradually taking soft foods like pudding and soup but isn't able to maintain anything at all without tube feedings. Eventually when we get the oleander and we are on the road to recovery, I want it out. I know it must be useless empty calories but don't know what to do since it took him a long time to be able to tolerare the nutren feedings. Little by little I am cutting back his hours and just today bought a juicer to give him proper healthy foods. Any suggestions from you I would greatly appreciate. To be quite honest, I am so nervous to try the oleander and I feel like I am on a roller coaster that never stops. My husband is depending on me but is quite new to this natural path we are starting to take. But at this moment he is unwilling to let go of the chemo and I know he is scared. I don't blame him. I just keep on telling him take small steps and you are going to be successsful. We also are doing the budwig diet and although it tastes nasty, he is getting it down. I started him on once a day for a week and will gradually increase it. Please feeel free to give me any advice you have, I need all the help I can get. Guest guest
Hi Sherri, Rest your mind with regard to Oleander. If you are worried with regard to its toxic effects, it is only toxic in its raw form. When properly made into an extract, it becomes a powerful healing tool. It fights the cancer itself, destroys cancer cells, shrinks tumors, and strengthens the immune system.
