This is exactly why absolutely no one in our family except one daughter

knows anything at all about my wife's condition, and that daughter doesn't

know a lot. Although our (grown) kids would largely agree with our

decisions, they just don't need the stress because all four of them plus DIL

are furthering their educations right now.

 

As for parents and other friends and family, only two friends know anything

at all. Our parents and siblings know nothing. One of those friends is a

fellow church member but not even the pastor knows as does no one else at

our church. They are all so brainwashed that we just don't want to hear it

nor do we want any praying to have our eyes opened by those who are so

blind. Same for all of her coworkers in a large local government office.

You are doing the right thing. There are some late stage cancer Drs. that will

refuse to treat if there are doubters seeing the patient. I wish I had been

firmer with my wifes family and friends.
