Guest guest
Since getting the response(s) from the group, my friend with Hodgkins Lymphoma has tried most if not all of the alternative therapies. The pain in his arm went away. It has been two weeks. Today he went to the doctor. His tumor has shrunk 50% - with only natural therapies. This wasn't with the benefit of oleander. It hasn't arrived yet. It was only with supporting natural therapies such as b17, ph control etc. This should have been hailed a miracle. BUT .. The doctor said that he was paid not to talk about alternative therapies. And he said Bryan should start chemo immediately. Today Bryan started chemo. He said that he was doing it for everyone else. Not himself. He was going to continue taking his alternatives for himself. This evening I told him he was just dosed with poison. And that he had been given 90% of what would kill him. I told him it would liquefy his guts. And that he wouldn't have children. I don't think I adequately explained how the alternative therapies wouldn't compete in the least with all that poison. And wouldn't stop his immune system from being utterly destroyed. Nor would it in any way make up for it. Yes. He should take poison to make up for his starvation of good food. What kind of ghoul for a family member does this to another family member? What kind of ghoulish system warps people this way? The world is upside down! That a young man's loving wife would urge him to take poison to heal. That a mans mother should ask her son to take poison. That a man's father should say "do the right thing." Take the poison. Never mind how you're beating your cancer. Quick! Take poison! It's like suicide to please your family. And whom do they kill? The trusting. They're culling the human race of those who are decent. They're driving the human race into the ground. Is there anyone out there who knows what I'm going through? AAAAAARRGH!
Guest guest
I don't get why he isn't on this group learning everything he can if he truly wants to beat his lymphoma. It seems to me that perhaps he is willing at some level (perhaps subconscious) to make an early departure from this world. If he had a strong survival instinct, it would seem to me he would ask some hard questions, such as: How often have you seen a tumor shrink 50% without allopathic treatments? What is my life expectancy without treatment? What is my life expectancy with chemo? This so-called loving family needs a major education about what chemo does and what the alternatives are, and it seems to me that he does too. I just don't understand people that do things they know are bad for them. Such as smoking, drinking, soft drinks, etc. I often wonder if they have a death wish deep down. Regardless of his choices, I hope you can find inner peace knowing that you are doing your best to help him through this. Guest guest
Sounds like Bryan needs to start thinking for himself, but most of all start looking at the facts! His tumor has shrunk 50% in two weeks, no pain, and hasn't even started his oleander! That is a miracle from God! Now we all need to rebuke that spirit of fear out of Bryan (and the doctor who is trying to kill him!) And start Praying for Bryan to see the truth and accept his Healing! I do understand your frustration Keith. It is a terrible feeling, when you believe, know, and can see the healing happening... but others will not believe, and don't even want to try, at someone Else's expense! Don't give up on him, he will come around! keith0d0nnell <keithodonnelloleander soup Sent: Monday, August 10, 2009 10:36:50 PM 50% tumor reduction with alternative therapy.. quick TAKE CHEMO!!! Guest guest
Yes Keith, we know what you are going through. Family pressure is one of the worst pressures of all. Bryan needs to realize that it is HIS life that is at stake here, not his family's. Despite the pressure, he needs to stand his ground and stop pleasing and reacting to misplaced guilt because in the end, he will "please them to death." This is a most difficult situation. The thing is that the uninformed family believes that they are doing the right thing, even in light of the fact that they have put common sense on the shelf after watching that tumor shrink. This is too common a situation. Bryan needs to take charge of his own health and be stern with his family. As for the doctor that said that he is paid not to talk about alternative measures and prescribing chemo after seeing the tumor shrink, all I have to say is shame on him. Doctors no longer make decisions. They just follow the same pattern for everybody. My prayers are with Bryan.
