Guest guest
Actually, I think that most humans are basically good - or at the very least we are imbued with a strong sense of what is right and wrong. However, we are also by definition imperfect and born of human frailty, and we are easily swayed by those who play upon our carnal and selfish desires. Evil never rests and, while the rest of us go about our daily lives living from month to month (or paycheck to paycheck) and year to year, evil and the greedy minions who are it's lieutanents and soldiers follow a plan that spans generations and centuries. Though we have by and large been lulled to sleep and lied to, I sense an awakening taking place and I take solace in the fact that evil has sought to rule the earth before. Though those who would enslave us and reduce our numbers have many tools at their disposal (just look for example at who it is that owns or controls virtually all of the banks, money andenergy and other resources of the world, almost all of the major media, almost every major publishing house and every major Hollywoood studio save one), they are still vastly outnumbered. And arrogance and false confidence has always proven to be their downfall. It is my hope that the awakening will happen in time that such will prove to be their downfall once again. The hour grows nigh it seems, but there is always hope - and those of us who see what is happening to our planet, our health and our basic freedoms have a choice. We can either choose to be silent and do nothing except perhaps try to save ourselves, waste ouir time complaining to each other and in effect "preaching to the choir", or else we can do what we can to spread the word and take action such as joining the Campaign for Freedomand/or Teaparty groups to demand that our individual liberties and freedoms be restored and protected, demand that our politicians and government officials from the local level all the way to the top agree to uphold and protect the constitution (or else cast them out and replace them with ones who will), refuse to submit to unconstitutional administrative codes and color of law courts, AND take steps to insure that we are protected and prepared for the dark days that may come. A very good step for one and all to put their actions where their mouths are would be to actively get behind Ron Paul's bill to audit the Fed and his recently introduced health freedom bills. Remaining silent is indeed a choice, and a very poor one in my estimation. Being vocal is also a choice and a much better one than remaining silent. Being vocal AND takikng action is the best choice of all. Now, having said all of that I hope that we can be vocal and take actions in the appropriate place, since debating the issue here is largely preaching to the choir and is a distraction from helping people beat and avoid cancer and other illness, and agree to return to the primary focus of this group. I apologize to those who may have been turned off or turned away by such discussion - but I stand by my contention that it was a healthy thing to bring into the open and air out because it does have the potential to impact on our health and health freedom. In the future, when I move this group to a better hosting sight perhaps we can have a separate discussion thread for such topics. But for now, I think it is best for everyone to return to our focus on healing.
