He had some bleeding out of ear but Dr. showed me a tare on the inside of ear.I will never know if the bleeding came from brain or ear.It took about 4 days in hospital and then 2 in hospice.When he died he weighed less than 100. I was planning to do an article on the hospice situation in California once I got settled and now once I get my computer back (yep, in the shop again, and am sharing Tony's), but it looks like my article will be expanded. In the days before, my mom had requested some popsicles and was told no, as she was experiencing bad edema. This was 1983. I'll never forget withholding hydration to my dear mother who requested it. Thank God for people like Tony and and the people on this list and others who freely give of their time and their experience in their desire to help someone else.
