Hi DaddyBob,It should be okay. Looks like you bought the commercial brand, and that is an understandable mistake. To get the health benefits, when purchasing Apple Cider Vinegar, one should always opt for raw (Bragg's). Same rule goes for honey, milk, etc. raw is always best. Whenever you buy Apple Cider Vinegar, just remember, whether the brand name is Bragg's or another, you want the one that has the "Mother" in it. Not all supermarkets may carry it (as with other raw products). You may have to go to a health food store.

Nothing wrong with using Braggs, though you should expect a bit more

precipitate. It is better though to use distilled apple cider vinegar,

since it makes for a better preservative (though at one time I

recommended Braggs for its superior health benefits).

Hey DaddyBob,Well........ Never mind what I said.......However, if you use ACV for any other reason such as acid reflux, etc. be sure to use Bragg's.Hugs, oleander soup , "Tony" wrote:>> > Nothing wrong with using Braggs, though you should expect a bit more> precipitate. yeah, that would be my guess (i just posted about that recently). i think

the mother would have to be distilled out... straining wouldn't work.

been thinking about using CS to preserve, and it occured to me that there's

at least a couple potential problems:

- " true colloid " not ionic, all particulate CS in an OSoup solution might

have to be of extremely high concentration to work. recall that MSP mild

silver protein CS products suspend silver particles in a protein liquid at

extremely high concentration, yet have been found (on store shelves) to be

growing bacteria within the solution. the bacteria feed off the protein,

and even with extremely high silver concentration in PPM still manage to not

come into contact with silve enough to kill it off. could this effect

similarly make using utopia or mesosilver inneffective as a preservative

unless a ridiculous amount of silver were used?

-EIS/CS, ionic silver is highly reactive, being hungry for electrons to

fulfill it's + charge. it will react with, alter or become part of, lots of

things which can possibly render them ineffective or ??? or turn them into

something else. ions are smaller than the smallest particles until they

react with something, so they get around pretty good until they hook up with

something, but i think it would take some experimentation to determine if

it's a worthy preservative for OSoup.

the true colloid CS might also work, but experimentation is needed to know,

and not experimentation on people who need to be getting the OSoup benefits

right along to avoid cancer death. that's what lab rats are for, adorable

though they may be.

Duke,

I wasn't aware that Whole Foods sold their 365 brand. To whom did they sell this to? Regardless, I never buy that brand in their store as it almost always contains sugar, citirc acid, etc.
