Greetings. New to the group. If you take echinacea or blackberry extract with a hemorrhagic fever such as bird flu, it may well kill you. Who told you that? To fight a hemorrhagic fever, you must understand what they are first. They use the immune system to kill you with. They cause an immune system storm called a "cytokine storm". They cause the immune system to attack too much. Here is how that happens. Normally before the body can produce antibodies which perform a surgical strike upon the virally infected cells, the body attacks with cells that carpet bomb. They blast not only the infected cell, but everything around it - destroying the cells with free radicals. A cytokine storm causes far too much of this, resulting in all the vitamin C being rapidly sucked out of the body. And then there is a rapid rise in the blood of free radicals. This causes the characteristic sudden smashing headache of a bleeding fever. Until finally the free radicals begin eating through the collagen in the nearby tissues (the lungs and mucous membranes) and bleeding begins. The viruses often accomplish this storm by producing signal proteins that say "attack", "attack", "attack". So. What happens when you add wind to the storm with immune system boosters like echinacea, blackberry extract etc? You increase the power of the storm that kills you. Collostrum is said to be effective for hemorrhagic fevers. It contains immune system modulator proteins. These may help take the wind out of the cytokine storm. Yes. Coconut contains Lauricidin which is also called Monolaurin, which does in fact dissolve the virus coating. But it is not the viruses that cause the damage in a bleeding fever. It is YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM. By the time bleeding begins, killing the virus is way too little, too late. There are already enough "attack" signals in the body to kill. Victamin C therapy does work. The idea is to START BEFORE THE BLEEDING. Start at the first sign of a headache. The first sign of a temperature. You rapidly ramp up the hourly or even quarter hourly dosage of vitamin C up to somewhere around 12 grams an hour until a case of the mild runs develops. This indicates systemic vitamin C saturation. When this happens, the vitamin C stops the storm on two fronts - by restraining the cytokine "attack" signal, and also by reducing the carpet bombing damage. It grabs free radicals and disarms them, acting like a wind break. All C and other antioxidants should be taken with vitamin E, A and D. These help manage the antioxidants and the arrested free radicals. Vitamin D and D3 are both very important in fighting viral infections before the infection. Get LOTS of sunlight if you can during times of infection. Any powerful antioxidant in LARGE QUANTITIES would do the same thing. Alpha Lipoic Acid, though has the effect of recharging all the antioxidants in the system. Which multiplies their effect. If the cytokine storm can be restrained for 3 days to stop bleeding, the body will learn to generate antibodies and stop the infection on it's own. I hope that helps explain how bird flu kills and what you can do about it. Now please understand that if you take a vaccine, it will not help you. See Dr Tenpenny For example, if they give you a vaccine it will contain Squalene which whill cause your immune system to go to warp speed. If you're hit with bird flu, and youv'e had squalene recently, what do you think would happen? Think. You do know that the vaccine makers have been absolved of responsibility, dont' you? You can't sue them for damages. I hope that puts it all in perspective.
