Guest guest
you're diluting 50/50 with CSilver? you mean a dose at a time or using CS in lieu of other preservative in a whole batch or something? i was wondering if the CS might react with something in the OSoup giving an undesirable result.? CS would be my choice of preservative if it works out to be a good one. oleander soup oleander soup On Behalf Of TonyThursday, July 30, 2009 6:18 PMoleander soup Subject: Re: It's numbness, that's what it is - Throw out the soup! Okay DB. If you are certain there has been no pesiticide or other chemical exposure, your soup may be ok after all. The normal rule of thumb is that if you touch it to your lips and feel numbness or tingling then you should not use it and chances are high that there is chemical contamination, most likely pesticides (and most likely malathion) As it turns out, I just made a batch myself from yesterday afternoon through this morning (it is a long process, as you know). We packed the leaves in perhaps a bit more than usual and then boiled it an extra hour and ended up with some pretty dark and pretty strong soup. I tasted a bit before diluting 50/50 with colloidal silver. I put some in my mouth just to guage the strength, and boy did it taste yucky! It too had a slight tingle to it, which I attribute to the strength, as I know the source of the plant, and it has had no pesiticides sprayed on it.
