Having enjoyed for nearly a year a decline in PSA readings following the JB protocol and taking 3 capsules per day of OPC I got a shock today to get a result that shows an increase in PSA from 6.72 to 7.77 over the last 2 months. I conclude that I have been a bit sloppy and must tighten up my self control. At the same time I am thinking to increase to 6 gellules per day the OPC which will double the dose. Also I am thinking about adding another booster such as LDN, Laetril or Methyl Jasmonite. I do not want to take any antioxidant product as that is supposed to interfere with the Budwig protocol. I also do not want something that is not compatible with Sutherlandia OPC.Can anyone kindly advise what extras would be compatible. I have never had any conventional treatment for PCa such as radiation surgery chemo or hormone therapy. I would like to give my system a maximum treatment and stop backsliding. I am 72 years old and fit and active

and already have lost 10kg. with the current diet and have perhaps reached my ideal weight.I will be happy to have comments and promise to keep on giving feedback. We all learn so much from the experience of others! I am very grateful for the benefit of this forumRupert

I think the anti-oxidant interference with Budwig is mostly a myth. Of the recommended items in my protocol, only perhaps alpha-lipoic acid and vitamin e might interfere as far as I know (both being oil soluable).

Upping to 6 caps daily of S/OPC is a good idea. If you are not already doing so, take 2400 to 3000 mg of bioavailable curcumin daily, 12-16 caps of inositol/IP6 every other month, and plenty of colloidal silver.

Now, tell us about the having sex issue - inquiring minds want to know! Are do you think Del was just bragging?

Hi Rupert.

Have you try the following herbs for your PSA

Nettle roots and leaves

Saw palmetto berries

Epilobium or flowering willow

Hydrangea root

Yarrow

Horsetail

Red clover

Echinacea root and leaves

All the above can be in a combination if you can find it, or you buy the herbs and mixed them yourself in a tea or tincture.

Also Lycopene from ripe tomatos is good for high PSA, you can cook a nice paste from organic tomatoes and eat it.

Pumking seeds in your diet will help, also Zinc helps the prostate as does Vitamin B6.

Hope this help you.

Hugs Mary

Hi Rupert. Most if not all the herbs i suggested will help to lower the PSA, thus stopping the night trips to the toilet as the pressure from elevated PSA will stop.

Also drink a lot of water during the day but stop after 8 pm at night.

parsley and corn silk tea are diuretics and will clear any infection in the bladder, drink this tea during the day as well.

Plus do not ride a bike as the pressure hurts the prostate.

No coffee or alcohol either. Grrrr

Green tea, Marshmallow root, Burdock root, Golden seal root, Red raspberry leaves, Maitake + Reichi and Shiitake mushrooms are also good for prostate problems.

Do your best Rupert and good luck.

Hugs Mary

Thanks Mary for your message. I have tried some of the things you listed but not all. I still have hope to find something to avoid getting up too often at night.
