Guest guest
Tony, I read the first article you sent they are referring to it as n-butylidenephthalide, im rather confused as to if there is a difference or not. It really sounds like something i wouldnt' be opposed to trying with some more research but where do you get something like that? is it available for purchase OTC? Thanks Rhonda www.caringbridge.org/visit/reidebrom
Guest guest
The compound occurs naturally in Dong Quai (Angelica senensis) - which is widely available. Most studies do not study an entire plant, but rather a single isolated compound - because only a synthetic version of a single compound or else a compound isolated by a unique method is patentable and thus would have potential as a new drug. Nature works synergistically and I am skeptical of most isolated compounds as compared to using the whole plant or a number of compounds which 0ften work together for maximum effect. I am not at all familiar with Dong Quai and passed the information along FYI only. All the best, oleander soup , rhonda ebrom <dipghater wrote:>> Tony, I read the first article you sent they are referring to it as> n-butylidenephthalide, im rather confused as to if there is a difference or> not.
