Did I mess up?

I think I messed up, Somebody tell me if I did.

After re-reading all the instructions I see where I was supposed to cool the

liquid and strain it between the first and second boiling.

I didn't, I simply removed all the leaves and stems and then started the

second boil and then did my filtering at the end after cooling.

Should we use this or not?

I took it about 45 minutes ago and once again did not read carefully enough.

I probably took a teaspoon, thinking that the dose was a tablespoon, not

remembering the passage that says to start out at 1/4 tsp, nor remembering

to hold it under my tongue for 30 seconds before swallowing. Well I'm still

alive and kicking but this stuff is literally stuck in my throat. OMG it's

awful!

Can I give this to my wife like this?

.... i didn't find instructions clear, probably because i downloaded them

from a couple different locations, and they differ a bit. it seems the

" hints & tips " mostly repeat the basic instructions, and it could all be

written more clearly step-by-step. i only found instruction to refrigerate

in the file on the groupps web area... other instructions weren't clear on

that as i recall. the patent process i read for the inverzel (sp?) didn't

mention preservative or temp (that i noticed), but said good for a year.

i filtered after pulling the vegetation, while still quite warm but it was

cooled to room temp by the time i was done. then i re-boiled (condensed)

and filtered again after that. it seems as it cools something thickens, and

something seperates. i have a clear-ish portion that is heavier than the

rootbeer colored part, which goes to the bottom. i'm still wondering if

this is o.k., typical/normal??? if o.k., do i shake it up before portioning

out a dose? or prefer the dark brown?

DB, i guess you know by now if a teaspoon was too much for an opener. no

clue how to get it out of your throat. i've only tasted a bit at this

point, and don't find it very nasty at all... different, vaguely familiar,

but not all that bad.
