Need advice on making & storing Oleander Soup

We have been fighting a tumor of undetermined origin for over 3 months with

some initial success but now are stymied. It is in my wife's left breast.

We've done more things than I need to list here.

Needle Biopsy was inconclusive. From there she was pushed not for a tissue

biopsy but for surgery. We balked. So we don't have an actual cancer

diagnosis. We are very sure that this tumor was caused and hardened by her

magnetic name tag. Of the many protocols we're doing, 35% H2O2 now is

showing some signs of working on it. Cancer or not, we need to treat it as

if it is.

We're ready to make Oleander Soup. Oleander grows everywhere here (Southeast

North Carolina) and we'll be harvesting a lot of it this coming Friday from

a friend who has never applied any chemicals to her Oleander. My first

questions have to do with correctly interpreting the cooking instructions.

The recipe in the group files says: " 4. Boil at a slow, rolling boil,

steaming, with the lid on for 3.5 to 4 hours. "

We will be doing this on an outdoor gas burner that will boil a water bath

canner full of water even on low, producing a slow but rolling boil.

1) Does the time period refer to when the boil actually begins?

2) Is there any disadvantage to letting it go to 4 hours?

" 7. Boil this slowly again for about 2 to 3 hours, reducing the liquid again

by 50%, to about 30% of original liquid. "

3) Does this simply mean that the target is the amount of reduction, not the

time?

Now to storage- we don't have enough colored glass bottles to store it all.

Will mason jars be fine in a dark fridge?

Also- is there any health advantage or disadvantage to cutting the soup with

Vodka as opposed to vinegar? I was surprised at the vodka because I thought

she needed to avoid alcohol. But I already know that when it comes to taking

it, she'll do better with the vodka because she hates vinegar. I'm the

vinegar lover here.

Thanks, DaddyBob

OK, I've bought Tony's ebook and got my answer to the 4 hour boiling

question, but I'd still like to hear about vodka vs ACV and storage in clear

mason jars.

Thanks, DaddyBob

Looks like I'm having a hard time drawing any attention.

I cut abut a good bushel of oleander yesterday, wore gloves but could not

help rubbing against the plant and cut ends, then had it in the cab of my

truck on the way home, breathing it for about an hour.

I've had trouble with heart flutters, a lot of trouble, and have cured it

better than 99% with various minerals. Last night before sleep my heart

skipped a few beats. This morning I had several anomalous flutters. I was

really perplexed about it because I've kept doing all the things that

prevent this.

Then it hit me- it must be the exposure to the oleander. I just never

realized how mean this plant is, at least in the raw state.

That's interesting. I have lots of oleander bushes and have trimmed

them numerous times (usually throwing away the trimmings) and never

wearing gloves.

The only thing that sounds somewhat different is that you transported

so much oleander in your car. Perhaps the pollen was circulating in

your truck? If the air conditioner was blowing across the oleander,

it may have stirred up a lot of pollen. I can only assume the pollen

is toxic since it is said that all parts of the oleander are toxic.

I can't advise you on making the soup, because I muscle-tested and got

a big yes for the capsules, but a weak no for the soup. I'm not sure

why but assume it must be because of the synergistic effect from

cancer bush.

I'm pretty sensitive to things, but maybe this was more about me being just

plain old tired more than anything else. In any case, I avoided the steam

coming out of the pot when I boiled the stems and leaves.

I have now made the soup, boiled stems and leaves for 4 hours, then boiled

down stock for about 3 hours and ended up with a dark brown stock of only

1/2 gallon. Have chilled it and will filter all today per the instructions

for both paper towels and coffee filters. Bought good top shelf triple

distilled Smirnoff for the preservative. Not going to do all this work then

cut it with cheap stuff;>)

Just remember, when you follow instructions you should end up with about 30% of the original volume of liquid, which you then mix 50-50 with the vodka. If you end up with less than 30%, add distilled water to make up the difference.
