Guest guest
....i made 4+ liters of OSoup a couple weeks ago. haven't started using it yet... will get used to LDN for awhile first. now i see it's seperating in the bottles quite a bit. when first condensed, the soup was a very pretty dark burgundy color that turned more brown as it cooled. but the time it had cooled to room temp and been filtered a bunch of times it looked like root beer soncentrate, with a more clear and viscous (?) stuff settling to the bottome of the bottles. over the last couple weeks the % of the stuff on bottome has increased. this OSoup was preserved with 190 proof = 95% grain alcohol instead of vodka. enough to make the OSoup = approx 10% alcohol (100ml/liter) current questions: is this seperation normal ??? are both parts good, just mix before using? or... should i pour off the stuff on top? or is the whole batch somehow not good? if so, what happened ??? thanks, bobL
