Great news today!

Earlier I was kinda bummed because the folks at the hospital had told that it would be Sunday at the earliest when she would get to come home. I was beginning to think that I was gonna have to take my gimpy back on a plane to California to rescue her!

Then I got a call from my son and found out I am gonna be a Grandpa!

And then I found out that just saw the doctor and he is releasing her today after all!

WOO HOO!!

That is so wonderful, and now we can start working on some more of the best chapters of and Tony. Do we have some plans!

And, a grandpa! Oh man! Yep, I gotta grandson on the way in a few months! Can't wait until he is past the "larval stage" and can walk and talk, be potty free, and able to roll or kick a ball back and forth. And fish, and camp . . . .

I may not be the best diaper holder and pablum feeder, but lemme tell ya, I will make a great grandpa!

Now, I just have to get my back home, finish healing my back and stay in good shape . . .

Gonna be a grandpa, is getting out . . . yep, today has been a good day!

Now I am going finish it off by going with my friend Ben Taylor to Mac and Ernie's in Tarpley and have some of their famous fried catfish with a baked potato all the way, a side of their great steamed green beans with walnuts and I might even have a piece of the tres leche cake. Oink!

And before you give me any grief, I will have you know that I am now down to 185 pounds!!

Hugs to all!

Tony

CONGRATULATIONS, Pawpaw

Tony!!!! It’s the best thing

ever…..believe me!

We have an almost 3 year

old granddaughter and a 4-month grandson – truly a miracle baby. One day I will share with the group “the

story.” Anyway, these

blessings are the “light” of our lives.

I have to admit that at first I couldn’t imagine being a “Gran”

because after-all, I’m just too young! ;o) But it is just priceless. Of course, I feel like they should be

our children because our daughter is just too young to already have 2—children. (Not really, but it seems that way.)

So glad to hear about !! What

a wonderful Friday for both of you!

I think it is awesome that you are celebrating in Tarpley and with a

good friend. When I was very young,

my grandparents owned a small cabin in Tarpley. I remember going up there and wading/swimming

in a creek that was behind the house.

It is horribly hot and humid in Houston!

No need for a sauna – just walk around the yard a couple of times

and you will get the same effect.

We need rain but not from a hurricane! They are talking a bit about brown-outs

and asking people to cut back on their electricity during the hottest part of

the day – 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

It’s been a while since we have had heat like this – which almost

always means a very active hurricane season – which we certainly do not

want!

Enjoy your weekend everyone! TGIF!

Be Well

Loretta

Oops, wasn't ready to send. Stupid space phones! Anyhow, there is no feeling better than the touch of that little hand grasping yours. It's pure, it's true, and you richly deserve it. With all that I have, I send you my congratulations. Blessings,Sean. Sent from my iPhoneOn Jul 10, 2009, at 16:35, "Tony" wrote:
