Guest guest
An elderly scientist/engineer friend of mine who has since passed on was working on a catalytic converter way back in the day before they were in the marketplace. He refused to make it though, because he ran tests and found that what it put into the air was worse than the stuff the government was testing for. I can't remember if it was platinum that was forming the offending compound, or what. Of course not long after he turned down the project, someone else was making them. I long for the day when I can leave the city behind and head for the mountains with pristine air and spring water! I'm sure will be much better soon since she has so many of us praying for her. Guest guest
daniel, Yes platinum is used in the production of catalytic converters, so that is most likely to be the toxic pollutant he was referring to.
