Only a little infection but "massive" asthma.

Asthma? I have never even heard her wheeze! Snores lightly a bit sometimes when she lies on her back (eww, she'll get me for that!), but no wheezing or coughing or such. She said that she did have some asthma many, many years ago - but never serious enough to be hospitalized. Given the brown haze lying over much of California, including where she is staying, I can see smog, new allergens and whatever gunk is out there trigguring such a reaction - especially for someone already a bit drained.

Anyway, all the other tests came back "normal" and those were the only problems. Now, we know that the term "normal" can be misleading, but still it is quite the relief and good news to hear that she had quite the battery of tests and no other problems were found!

Naturally, their solution is antibiotics and likely they will be wanting to get her on asthma meds and sprays and such - but we know better, don't we? Nebulizer with colloidal silver and lobelia and some ClearLungs chinese formula should do the trick (along with all the other good stuff she now has).

She reports steady improvement in her breathing and also in her anxiety/racing heart (that Dr. Christopher's Hawthorn Berry surely is a wonder) and should be heading home today or tomorrow latest.

Several years ago, I was working 4 jobs, going to college full time, and raising 3 kids. After doing that for about 2 years, I got a "little" run down and developed an upper respiratory thing. Having never had asthma in my LIFE (I was about 40 at the time), I was shocked when they diagnosed me with asthma plus about 7 other things I can't remember. I walked out of the doctor's office with 17 prescriptions! Being uninformed at the time, I got 1 antibiotic and the inhaler filled. The rest went in the garbage, including decongestants, etc. Anyway, after I managed to get some rest and get over the ick, I've never had a problem with asthma since. I think it's beginning to be a catchall for anything that can't be called COPD. Just my opinion.

 

I'm so glad is doing better. Get her back home where the good air is!!

I have been reading that vitamin D is

important for asthma. It’s also good to combat flu. On the advice of Dr.

Mayer Eisenstein, I am taking 5,000 IU of vitamin D on regular days and

50,000IU at the first sign of the flu (for seven days). First she should have

a vitamin D test called the hydroxy 25 vitamin D test and have a Lab Corp lab

read the results. If Quest reads it, the results come out incorrectly.

That is so good to hear that is on the mend and avoiding their

poisons. How ironic she goes for a bit of Rest and Relaxation and

gets hit by the California smog! Truly a testament to the many toxins

we are subjected to on a daily basis--they are just more concentrated

Tony, So glad to hear will be ok! When my son was about 7yrs. old, he woke up in the middle of the night, unable to breath, wheezing the scariest sound I ever heard from a child! I rushed to the E.R., only to return with a large bottle of Albuterol? I was told to give him all the medicine, then see a doctor! Fortunatly, it happend again, this time I took him to Miami Childrens Hospital. The first thing the Dr. ask was, "Have you gotten anything New?" New carpet, new Dog? Bingo! We recently got a cocker spaniel. That was it, eventhough the dog was kept outside. We had always had Pit Bulls, with very short hair, no problems. The Dr. explained to me that asthma, was an allergy to something. Our regular doctor, was shocked that the first e.r. dr. had told me to give my

child that bottle of medicine, he told me that it could have killed him. My Dr. had known of a child who died from cardiac arrest, because of too much Albuterol. We found a new home for the dog, Jared got better, but has at times had asthma reactions throughout the years. may have been exposed to something "new" that triggerd this sudden attack. That is good news as now she will know what to do. When will she be back online?

I have a feeling that she is one of these nice people that goes out of her way

for others and might forget to take care of herself. I, of course, don't really

know her, but I feel that is what she does. I know that you also go out of your

way.

You know that I have Hep C and Fibromyalgia. One of the things that many people

with Fibro have is a type A personality. I push myself quite a bit and have

anger issues with these diseases and with my financial situation. Finances were

OK till I was out of work for 6 weeks because of a leg injury and the fact that

a year and a half ago I went from 40 hrs to 20 hrs a week. I am not up to 35 a

week, but will never catch up.

The herb store in Melbourne, Fl is closed M-TU.

Hi Elizabeth,I think two cats have something to do with the asthma. And while here I am keeping my distance. I will say that the colloidal silver and lobelia breathing treatments are helping immensely, but I must keep them up. If I slack off thinking I'm better, the asthma with the accompanying congestion seems to return. So I will have to be very careful until I leave.By the way, interesting what you said about albuterol. In the hospital I was given breathing treatments with albuterol and atrovent. After each treatment, my heart would pound and I would get the "shakes." Dear , I think it may be the cats. I have known people that have had the same type of reaction

Yep........ I need to get away from the cats. But right now I'm stuck. Right now I'm not quite strong enough to make the drive back and am rebuilding my strength. The asthma is an added complication. Aaaaaargh....... I am getting better Elizabeth, and today is the second day that I have any worthwhile energy to speak of. Thankfully, I am breathing well and keeping the asthma at bay. And I know that this is due to the colloidal silver, lobelia, and clear lungs. And yes, I spend most of my time in a different room with the door closed.Our target date for my return is around August 1st and right now, at the rate that I'm progressing, I believe I'll make it. You might want to try some alfalfa tablets (no additives....there are some out there, you just have to hunt for them). We raised rabbits for a while, and it turns out that I am HIGHLY allergic to rabbits! To the point that when I petted a mini rex (velveteen type), my eyes swelled shut and it felt like my lungs had stopped working...seemingly no air exchange at all. To get over the symptoms in a hurry, I washed my hands and face with plain water, then took 4-6 alfalfa tablets, and within 15 minutes the symptoms had subsided. I find when I use alfalfa on a regular basis, I have no problems around animals. Apparently, I have sensitivities to types of animals I am not around a lot. No problems with dogs or goats, but when I touch cats now it's a problem, horses are a problem, and rabbits are a BIG problem. Considering I am a farm girl, this could cause issues. Alfalfa does it for me. When taken on a regular basis (which, sadly, I neglect to do), I have no symptoms at all at any time around any animal. Give it a try. It can't hurt, lol.

I keep Animal Hair and Dander around the house.

 

So, when someone visits and gets a bit sniffy because of our cat STAR, I offer them a swig of it.

 

I actually tell them to take the whole bottle home with them.

 

Note, BioAllers has other allergy remedies too!

 

And of course, there are other homeopathic brands out there.
