If he recommends adding NAC, I would most definitely follow his advice. Guest guest Posted June 9, 2009 Report Share Posted June 9, 2009 Hi Jill, From what I understand from my ND, N-Acetyl Cysteine is usually recommended in the case of bowel/colon cancer as it enhances the body's ability to manufacture Glutathione. I'm on a couple of products to enhance Glutathione, including a Glutathione suppository. I have lung and brain cancer so the ND didn't think adding N-Acetyl Cysteine would help me much.
