Thanks

Tammatha.

I

was going to ask if those on raw vegan diets could share their detox

experiences that happened upon switching to the raw lifestyle. Even tho I had

been doing vegetarian 4 months prior, I still expect to have detox things

happen, but would like to know what to expect so encourage others to share.

I

do the liver/gallbladder cleanses every month, and plan on starting coffee

enemas…kinda been stalling on doing those. Guess its

time to get the stuff and start. I also enjoy the steam room at after my

workouts at the local gym of which I am a member. I figure that also helps with

detoxing.

Thanks,

Laura

Sorry Laura,

I missed this post from you for some reason....I believe we are constantly detoxing and especially when we are raw we become more sensitive. I know we hear this all the time and people are always throwing books at us to read but seriously...not sure if you have heard of Matt Monarch he has written a book called "Raw Success" it is a must read for the wonderful journey you have begun, his website is therawfoodworld.com he also has a 12 minute Utube TV show everyday that I have emailed to me that you can join. He highly recommends colon hydrotherapy too which I started long before I came across him and was so glad he thought is was a necessary way to cleanse the body too. Sounds like you are on the right track and just need a bit of guidance and are very open minded, which is the half of it really!

The steam room is great and I love it too and actually prefer it but they say that the Infared Sauna is superior to it for detoxing, also I do detox footbaths where I go for my colon hydrotherapy, it is fantastic as well. Try the colon hydrotherapy it's much better than the enema's.

You are doing great, keep it up.

Thank

you Tammatha.

Actually,

I to all the raw foodies I have found on YouTube and have Matt on

there also. Thanks for the advice on reading his book, because I haven’t

actually been to a lot of the websites of the folks broadcasting on YouTube,

but using their videos as learning tools. Have actually been thinking since I have

an account, I should begin video documenting my own journey as I learn upon my

Raw path to health and healing since I am still transitioning from vegetarian

cooked(10%) to raw vegan(90%). Some of the upcoming hurdles I see coming are

hiking, overnite backpacking and camping trips and continuing my raw diet. We

have a full itinerary planned this summer to get out and enjoy our Alaskan

countryside. Right now I am searching for a raw granola-type BAR recipe for away

eating and longevity without refrigeration, which I will need for the hiking

and overnite backpacking. I make awesome mock meatloaves and a few desserts,

but they all need refrigeration and to be used within 2 days. Maybe I should

try freezing and taking it frozen?? I have a few manufactured, prepackaged

dehydrated vegan meals to take, but want to take as much raw foods as possible.

On

another note, I have been using lavender essential oil upon the bumps on my

arm. The first day the redness and hardness disappeared. Today, the third day, it

looks as though it is drying up and beginning to go away. I got so caught up in

my diet, I totally forgot about using essential oils in healing and health

issues. And that leads me to the foot soak you mentioned. I used to do my own

garlic foot soak whenever I felt a cold or other illness coming on. Guess they

must have done something because I haven’t gotten sick in ages, oh except

that I got diagnosed with CLL, Leukemia; go figure, LOL.

Peace,

Laura
