Guest guest
I have heard that it is best to take D3 in a liquid form for best utilization. Is this true or not? Thanks, Jill~
Guest guest
Hi Jill, I'm not sure the verdict is in yet on which type of vitamin D-3 is the best. I can tell you those in our fNHL group prefer the liquid drops. Several use Swanson, a couple use Life Extension and several use Bio-D-Mulsion Forte. ( I have no affiliation with any of these firms.) The only users that have 25-hydroxy Vitamin D tests verifying the gains made in Vitamin D level are the 3 using Bio-D-Mulsion Forte. Most of the others just started testing in the last year. My guidance would be, no matter which supplement brand, to test 25-Hydroxy Vitamin D at least twice yearly especially if you're supplementing at levels above 5,000 i.u. daily. We are finding that everyones ability to absorb D-3 is different. Some need high supplementation to reach sufficiency while others are making good progress at lower levels.
