Google this before you drink raw milk.. Here we are not talking about ear infection, but about some very painful condition and with sometimes irreversible consequences. Is it worth to take a chance ?/! You tell me ! Brucella: Mortality is low (<2%), and is usually associated with endocarditis. Campylobacter : may develop a rare disease called Guillain-Barré syndrome that affects the nerves of the body beginning several weeks after the diarrheal illness, irreversible. Coxiella burnetii (Q fever) : " Surgery to remove damaged valves may be required for some cases of C. burnetii endocarditis " Cryptosporidium : " People with weakened immune systems may develop serious, chronic, and sometimes fatal illness. " E. coli O157/EHEC : " that cause severe human diseases, including bloody diarrhea and hemolytic uremic syndrome " Listeria monocytogenes : " When infection occurs during pregnancy, antibiotics given promptly to the pregnant woman can often prevent infection of the fetus or newborn. Babies with listeriosis receive the same antibiotics as adults, although a combination of antibiotics is often used until physicians are certain of the diagnosis. Even with prompt treatment, some infections result in death " Mycobacterium bovis (Bovine tuberculosis) : " Mycobacterium bovis is the causative agent of tuberculosis " Salmonella enterica : " A small number of persons with Salmonella develop pain in their joints, irritation of the eyes, and painful urination. This is called Reiter's syndrome. It can last for months or years, and can lead to chronic arthritis which is difficult to treat " Salmonella typhi (Typhoid fever) : " Even if your symptoms seem to go away, you may still be carrying S. Typhi . If so, the illness could return, or you could pass the disease to other people " Shigella : " Once someone has had shigellosis, they are not likely to get infected with that specific type again for at least several years. However, they can still get infected with other types of Shigella " Staphylococcal enterotoxins : Staphylococcal toxins are fast acting, sometimes causing illness in as little as 30 minutes. Symptoms usually develop within one to six hours after eating contaminated food. Patients typically experience several of the following: nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, and diarrhea " Steptococcus : " Death occurs in 14% of hospitalized adults with invasive disease. Neurologic sequelae occur in meningitis patients. " Tick-borne encephalitis virus : " Although TBE is most commonly recognized as a neurologic disease, mild febrile illnesses can also occur. Long-lasting or permanent neuropsychiatric sequelae are observed in 10-20% of infected patient " Toxoplasma : " Toxoplasmosis is considered to be the third leading cause of death attributed to foodborne illness in the United States. More than 60 million men, women, and children in the U.S. carry the Toxoplasma parasit " Yersinia enterocolitica : " Most infections are uncomplicated and resolve completely. Occasionally, some persons develop joint pain, most commonly in the knees, ankles or wrist " ================================= Also LEUKEMIA,NON HODGKIN'S LYMPHOMA AND SOME HERPES VIRUS that survive perfectly pasteurization . pasteurization is not a sterilization !! ================================= Antibiotics ================================ Growth hormones.
