Guest guest Posted January 10, 2007 Report Share Posted January 10, 2007 As per the link I posted previously about medical acupuncturists by state, I found one down the street from work with the same excellent credentials as the Dr. Shapiro I was fawning over earlier! It ends up that this new dr. treats only rehabilitation patients and is open until 5, when I get off work. His office recommended me to someone else, who's only open 9-2 a few days a week, and very few Saturdays. I'll check the list again, but I think this was the problem I had with it several years ago: The MDs who do acupuncture are an odd bunch (no regular hours for us working people). I saw one dr. on there in Pa., where I used to live, and am pretty sure that his secretary would see me for the first visit, but wouldn't stick me until the second -- which would be a 2nd visit and a 2nd fee!
