Guest guest
Questions: Ideas regarding the swelling. Dangerous in the future? Importance of draining it or not? How to get it to reduce and so on. Thank you for any ideas or information! Male, 32 6' 4 " , 230 lbs, weight fits build, except his middle which carries his extra weight (20 lbs) Has had a moveable, soft, painless lump at the rear base of neck for over a decade. It has a dot at the centre (opening to an oil gland). In western medicine it looks like a sebaceous cyst. Tongue: smallish body, light red or pink, thin, yellowish sometimes greasy coating. Gloss low. He has a history of constant gas and flatulence, strong odour. His appetite is good, as is his energy. He plays a frisbee team sport. He used to eat a large amount of dairy and bread. He sleeps well and does not have much stress. He went on a few courses of " Bo He Wan " and " Nei Xiao Luo Li Wan " , after which his prior signs of food stagnation leading to phlegm heat lessened by about half, and his cyst seemed to stop growing for a few years. Currently: His tongue coating is medium thickness, sometimes greasy, white, sometimes a little yellow. His gas is greatly reduced, and he has reduced his dairy consumption by three-quarters. I am concerened about the size of the lump because it was not specifically mentioned. Has it changed in recent years? Have you tried a warm olive oil poltice to soften the area more and perhaps allow drainage on its own? This person appears to have a stressed earth constitution and may benefit from a TCM combination herbal product. I am not familar with a lot of TCM companies but I have used the two products below with sucess. I am a registered nurse and have owned a western herbal shop for 12 years. I am definately not giving medical advice here but the herbal TCM supplements may be of help. In Chinese herbology, Chinese Anti-Gas is considered " earth-reducing. " Its Chinese name Xiao Dao can be translated to mean " clearing. " Under Chinese philosophy, this formula is designed to move energy (chi) to the head and support the natural elimination of excess moisture and toxins. Chinese Anti-Gas BENEFITS • Helps detoxify the body. • Supports the digestive, intestinal and urinary systems. HOW IT WORKS Chinese Anti-Gas is a Chinese formula combining 15 herbs. It supports both the digestive and detoxifying functions of the body, including the urinary system. Its primary herbs include agastache, crataegus, hoelen and gastrodia. Agastache is traditionally used to strengthen the stomach and to increase energy. In Chinese culture, it is said to drive out moisture. Crataegus, or hawthorn berry, helps metabolic clearing in the body. Studies show that crataegus is also beneficial to the heart. Hoelen is a fungus that grows on pine tree roots. It has been used as a diuretic; Chinese herbalists use it to " drain dampness. " In Japanese Kampo medicine, the fungus is used to promote urination. Gastrodia is a traditional Chinese herb that is useful in modulating " exuberant yang " of the liver and calming internal wind. INGREDIENTS Chinese Anti-Gas contains agastache tops, crataegus fruit, hoelen sclerotium, magnolia bark, oryza fruit, shenchu whole plant, citrus peel, gastrodia rhizome, w root, typhonium rhizome, atractylodes rhizome, cardamom fruit, platycodon root, ginger rhizome and licorice root. RECOMMENDED USE Take 3 capsules with a meal three times daily. TCM Concentrate: Take 1 or 2 capsules with a meal daily. Chinese Blood Build (100 capsules) By strengthening body-wide cleansing mechanisms already in place, you allow your purified blood to deliver more nutrients and carry away more cellular toxins. The result? You feel better and body tissues heal more quickly. Chinese Blood Build is called Bu Xue in Chinese, which can be translated as " to nurture the blood. " HOW IT WORKS In addition to the kidneys, the liver is a major facilitator of blood purity. But an effective blood cleanser must deal with all of the cleansing organs, including the colon and skin. Not only does Chinese Blood Build help the body get rid of irritating toxins, it works to prevent more toxic buildup. This herbal combination is " adaptogenic, " meaning it has a tonic effect on the glandular system. This helps normalize hormone production to relieve the stress that comes from hormone imbalance. Using the expertise of a respected Chinese herbalist, he developed this unique formula to be an effective adjunct to the daily diet. Only the finest raw materials are used, and each has a long history of known benefits in the Chinese culture. Chinese Blood Cleansing Formula INGREDIENTS Eighteen herbs contribute to the synergistic power of this popular formula: dang gui root, ganoderma plant, lycium fruit, peony root, bupleurum root, cornus fruit, curcuma root tuber, salvia root and rhizome, achyranthes root, alisma rhizome, astragalus root, atractylodes rhizome, ho shou wu root tuber, ligusticum fruit, cnidium rhizome, rehmannia root tuber cyperus rhizome, panax ginseng root. RECOMMENDED USE Take 3 capsules with a meal three times daily. TCM: Take 2 capsules a day with a meal.
Guest guest
Hugo: Do you have a more precise location for the lump? Is it near any major acupoints? Has his flatulence changed with his diet? Kind regards, Jack --- Hugo Ramiro <subincor wrote: > Questions: Ideas regarding the swelling. Dangerous > in > the future? Importance of draining it or not? Guest guest
Hugo: I have found a Nei Xiao Lei Li Wan (Internal Scrofula Eliminating Pill) Would this be what the patient has taken? If so, was there a reason why this was discontinued? Kind regards, Jack --- Jack Sweeney <mojavecowboy wrote: > Hugo: > > Do you have a more precise location for the lump? Guest guest
Hi, Hugo: Seems like this guy needs a little education, the Nei Xiao Lei Li Wan should have taken care of the problem, and sounds as if things were working smoothly.
