BSD Treating Bipolar Disease Proces

The many patients that have had successful treatments with this

diagnosis responded quite well to TCM which included herbs and

acupunture as well as homeopathy, aromatherapy, cranial sacral

therapy and massage. The formula that actually worked quite well is

Xiao Yao Wan, along with An Mian Pian (taken at least one hour

apart).

Those patients on conventional medicine can continue to take their

meds along with the herbs and homeopathy,as they slowly reduce their

medications under their doctors strict supervision.

Herbs and homeopathy should not be taken close in time with MAO

inhibitors. This is quite important to note. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCEs

should a patient on any psychotropic drugs reduce or go off their

medications with their doctors intervention.

St.Johns Wort, Hypericum Perf. has been in valuable in the treatment

for this problem.. But since most drugs prescribed are MAO

inhibitors it can be quite serious if someone takingMAO inhibitors

take St. Johns Wort. St. Johns WOrt (I make it from locally grown

plants here in the north of ISrael- Tzfat) have helped a

considerable number of people with bi polar, chronic or mild

depression . Over 70% of the prescriptions in Germany for clinical

depression were written for St. Johns Wort (as of over 10 yrs ago).
