Magnesium even goes further, it breaks down calcium with Vitamin D,also works with about 650 conditions,with potassium helps cramps and spasms, also these two are helpful with blood pressure. Magnesium glycinate good for the muscles and will not give you runs. Magnesium oxide will calms the colon and move it thru for lazy colons. Allergies and stress and even low thyroid play a role in IBS including quick and slow transit time and intestinal lining break down and inflammation.
