HELP re Allergy and auto-immune disease

i read from somewhere that auto-immune disease like arthritis, ashtma

and allergies are hyper-activity of immune system. And the hyper-

activity is caused by weak lungs (TCM term). I just want to confirm

that if its true that hyper-activity is caused by weak organs.
