Guest guest
Thanks for inquiring about my apointment.I questioned him again about the herbs and side effects and he said that they shouldn't cause headaches or raise blood pressure. He feels that those two symptoms are stress related.I was kind of silently chuckling to myself as it reminded me of many stories that I heard from other women who've complained about how male western docs don't take them seriously regarding headaches etc. " It's all in your head.Just take an antidepressent and you'll feel fine " kinda attitude. That kind of attitude says more about him and his perceptions of the world, I'm certainly not going to take it personally, lol...This kind of thing happens far too often with women patients in general, which is why so many of us seek out alternative health care.Well at least I did MY job and now know from the info that I received here supports what he said about it not causing headaches. If it is something else as some have said here such as a reaction to food sensivities or a general weakness already present in my constitution anyway I'll soon find that out soon too.I'm keeping a food journal to make note of any physical reactions to different things so I can make any nessacary adjustments. Will also keep an eye on blood pressure and make note if spikes or lowers too.I'm sure of one thing when it comes to health care, the better informed we are the better hoices we can make.heck, I might even drop in on Bob down in St. Pete one of these days. It looks like he has some interesting classes, one of them on herbs. Thanks for your input Zenisis. Mermaid
