Guest guest
Thanks for the info on the medicine that you have heard of that is similiar to " Shen Ji Pai Shi Wan " Bob. What you have described as far as side effects makes me think that this is a very strong medicine which would explain my reaction to it.If you don't mind reading a long list of ingedients I will list what is in my herbal mixture. Here goes: rhizoma alismatis(ze xie),radix bupeuri(cai hu),herba lysimachiae(jin quian cao),folium pyrrosiae(shi wei),semen plantaginis(che quian zi) radix cyananchi paniculati(xu chang qing) caulis lonicerae(ren dong teng),semen vaccariae(liu xing zi),herba dianthi(qu mai).Hopefully this is a safe remedy to take?I'm just wondering if the side effects that you have described are even worth my taking a chance on trying to dissolve kidney stones.I have an acupuncture apt. tommorow and will attempt to discuss the reaction that I had and see if the dosage or ingredients need to be adjusted. Feeling yucky sometimes isn't worth it, lol... I went to your website and it looks like you have a really nice place.Do you advertise in the area? I don't get down to Central Ave much anymore since I moved to the northern part of Pinellas County but you guys sure picked a great location to have a business. If any of the ingredents that I listed are something that I need be concerned about please let me know. Thanks again for the info.
Guest guest
Not to be to preachy but some poor experiences I have had I feel I must interject . . . I had these issues with an allopath and for a long time I wondered if I had a c-section that could have been avoided, had I been more assertive. My son is fine and I am fine, but I was left with the impression that the c-section was more for her convenience than my and my son's health. It seems that you are either somewhat reluctant (or intimidated?) to speak to your practitioner directly about these side effects which sound extremely important. I remember feeling somewhat vulnerable, not understanding everything that was going on, and just being led in a particular direction without being educated about my choices. For you whatever it is, be sure you explore this and don't ignore it. Perhaps you are wondering if the acupuncturist has the medical training to know whether or not this is problematic. Or you assume he/she is anti-western medicine. Perhaps neither of these are true, but whatever that nagging something is in the back of your mind, it would be important to bring it forward into your consciousness so that you can ask the right questions until you feel comfortable. Ask about your practitioners credentials, philosophy, etc. Perhaps he/she assumed you were not interested. It is your practioner's responsibility to gain your trust and confidence, give them the opportunity to earn it. Just my $.02 and a mini-crusade of mine.
