Guest guest
Hi, Can someone please advise me on how to get rid of excess heat? I was OK until I started drinking lots of Cayenne tea last summer, then I got too hot and it's still in my body. Today was sunny and 55 in TN, and I could not stand the feel of the warm sun on me. I felt like I was roasting in the sun. Last week I started taking 1500 mg. of Eclipta Concetrate and Picrorrhiza Kurroa 1000 mg. daily for the Hepatitis C I've had for 24 +/- years. I also take Milk Thistle and Olive Leaf Extract. Any advice on Hep C Herbs and the Eclipta/Picrorrhiza combo would be appreciated too. I've been into clean living and 100% whole foods for about 24 years. The Cayenne heated me up and created an imbalance. Before that I was taking an infrared sauna for 45 minutes every morning. Now I can't tolerate the sauna any more. It heats me up too much and makes me feel way too warm. Thank you in adavance for any input. Guest guest
Welcome Joe, my intuitive take on this is that cayenne pepper is something that will aggravate the liver due to its firey nature. There are some good articles at ITM on specialist hep treatments, here are some links http://www.itmonline.org/arts/hepcstrat.htm http://www.itmonline.org/arts/hepcup.htm http://www.itmonline.org/arts/hepc2k1.htm http://www.itmonline.org/arts/fibrosis.htm http://www.sinomedresearch.org/index.htm (drZhang is a very good specialist in this area) also Dr Misha Cohen is a good tcm practitioner who works in this area http://www.docmisha.com/applying/hepatitis_help/index.html for some groups that may be of help http://health.hcvsucks/ http://health.jovo/ http://health.Healingfromhcv/ Hope this is some assistance. I would recommend seeing a competent TCM practitioner who has proven experience with hepatitis c and specialises in this best wishes from Rob. Guest guest
Hi rob, Thank you for the links, info, and welcoming me. There is some very interesting reading there for sure and I will bookmark the links. I went to an acupuincturist twice recently and was supposed to go again in a few weeks but I'm not sure if I will or not. I'm not sure how much or if she's going to help me. She recommended I drink mint tea for my excess heat which has had little or no effect on it. Gotta run. Will keep in touch and thanks again.
