One more tidbit from moi, before I go to bed. Maybe someone should

give this lady a copy of " The Alchemy of Illness " by Kat Duff. It is

about the initiatory role of serious or chronic sickness. You know,

when I first picked up this book, I found it boring, and later on

understood it, and how it might apply to everyone going through an

unhappy stretch of any sort. One aspect of the book that might turn

off

some western readers is the author's explication of the origins of

suffering using native N. American mythology. I don't know

what's

wrong with me, but I find some of this stuff leaves me with glazed

eyes. Oh, well; still a v. good book.

 

Thank you, Jack, for your recentest message on how Ch. medicine

should

ideally work.
