Please let me know. I am a massage therapist who does a lot of work with

Acupressure and would work on a friend of mine who has Kidney(Renal) failure if

it would help. I firmly believe there is a relation to this but also to the

adrenal glands in conjunction with stress.

Please let me know if anyone can...

Hi:

According to Wiseman and Ye's dictionary, there are

many types of kidney disease, so you'd have to specify

which one your friend has.

If you say renal failure, this sounds extremely

serious. Does the person visit a hospital or clinic

weekly to have machines perform the work of the

kidneys?

I have a brother in law with the same condition, and

he must visit the hospital twice weekly. His bladder

doesn't work, so he can't urinate.

There are ways to boost the kidneys, especially with

moxibustion and herbs. But you need to be sure of the

TCM diagnosis of this person before doing anything.

Hope that helps, Jack
