For those on the list new to TCM, the time of day treatment is

administered can make a difference between a successful outcome and

one that leaves a lot to be desired.

Usually, the time of day doesn't matter. But occasionally

acupuncturists and herbalists will encounter cases where the time of

day treatment is administered will make a difference.

BTW, Western allopathic medicine recently has discovered that the

time of day prescription drugs are given can make a difference in

their effectiveness and strength. But the phenomenom is not yet as

well understood in allopathic medicine as in TCM.

Sometimes encountering problems consistently at one time of day can

point to specific Organ weaknesses. One of the best known examples

are people who consistently awake between 3 and 5am may be suffering

from a Lung imbalance. People who tend to feel more fatigued between

5 and 7pm may have a Kidney imbalance. Etc.
