Jin Shin Do (was Newbie Intro with QUESTION)

Thanks for all the input. Even though what I " heard " on TV didn't exactly

sound like Jin Shin - more like Jer Jon (for all I know there could be z's

and h's in the spelling, and it was distinctly Chinese) - it seems that Jin

Shin Do is probably what I'm looking for anyway.

 

I'll check out some books on the subject at Barnes and Noble.

 

My particular interest is removing blocks to the meridians that are keeping

my weight on. I know this is not a nutritional issue. These blocks are

there from years and years of stress, and a childhood of abuse. I'm 54 and

have no real health problems - at least in the Western sense of ill health.

One last input, your final Jin Shin Do sounds like a

Japanese romanization of the Chinese " Ren Shen Dao "

(People - Spirit - Way).

 

There is similar form of healing from Japan which

translates into Chinese as " Ren Shen Shu " (People -

Spirit - Art or Technique). This was developed by a

Japanese - American woman from Arizona who learned

from a Japanese master.

 

If western medicine can't help you, Chinese medicine

prolly can.
