Guest guest
Traditionally in the Wise Woman tradition, a yarrow infusion can be used to pull glass out. They would simmer 1/2 oz of yarrow in a pint of water onas low a flame as she can make for 15 minutes in a covered glass or clay pot. It was then used as a soak over the appropriate area. Guest guest
Leaves Hello, my sister was in a car wreck three years ago and had a lot of the windshield to into her scalp, face, neck, arm. It is still working out of her skin and making her crazy. As she touches things she feels splinters of glass. It is coming out of all the places I named, including the roof of her mouth and her throat. Her head feels swollen. Her eye is bothered. After a shower there is a layer of glass on the tub. She lives in the middle of nowhere with no access to holistic, Chinese medicine. Her allopathic doctor said it would just have to work itself out. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any suggestions? Thanks, Michelle
Guest guest
Michelle's letter caught my attention. There is a classic concept from Homeopathy and the Shussler Biochemic System that homeopathic Silica activates the cells to expell any foreign element - the old doctors called it as a great splinter remover - this can be bought at most health food stores from the leading Homeopathic companies like Standard Homeopathic or Boiron - another Homeopathic resource is www.abchomeopathy.com - buy this in either 6x or 12x potency. Two other ideas to consider - One is Reishi - Reishi dissolves the thick and sticky quality of the jing fluids - often these 'sticky' glycated substances 'hold' the foreign substances and renders them difficult to expell. Buy whole Reishi or powdered Reishi and boil 5-9 gms in 6 cups of water - boil down to 3 cups and take in three devided doses per day until all substances are expelled. There are undoubtedly inflamatory processes around the glass fragments - dissolving and moving the excess heat (acid) and fluid accumulation will help in the elimination process - Reishi is very helpful for this. Second idea - the cells need Qi so as to be able to focus the energy of the tissues for expelling these glass fragments - any good Qi increasing medicine will help - my favorite quick energy tonic is Majiajun 'Championship Formula' - this is distributed in US by Superior Trading Company in San Francisco - this is a simple formula that can be devised by anyone on their own - it is Cordyceps, Red Ginseng, Edimedium acuminatum, and citrus peel - other classic qi medicines such as 'Imperial Qi'will help. Keep the bowels free - as dry sticky bowels are the same problem as mentioned before - it means the body is dry and stagnant not the best environment for elimination of substances - do not let the jing fluids become sticky - you can notice this in your saliva, eye fluids, genital fluids, etc. Drink plenty of fluids to also combat drying, stagnant, holding qualities of the cells. Perhaps light steam baths might help as it will relax and open the pores and the surface circulation and help speed up the process of expelling the surface glass. If one has a FIR lamp then apply this in a moderate dose (not close or for long time) - this is very helpful for stimulating surface circulation. Good luck - if the immune functions are good then this will simply be a matter of suffering through the natural expulsion process - which just means time. But if one is older or very young or with weakened immune function then the cells may have trouble expelling some of these fragments - then the above suggestions or similar ones will be necessary - if after some time all of the pieces have not been expelled then one will have to surgically remove the most obstinate ones - do not leave them as they will cause potential problems later - although in most cases the body will naturally eliminate all of these fragments but it might take time and be very painful in the meantime - so help the body how ever you can to eliminate these fragments.. > Hello, > my sister was in a car wreck three years ago and had a lot of the windshield to into her scalp, face, neck, arm. Guest guest
Tatum O'Neal (Paper Moon star) wrote in " A Paper Life " that salves helped leach out highway macadam from her legs after a car crash as a teen. She's gone through the window and her legs skidded across the pavement. (OW!) I don't think the salves were specified, nor were recipes given. She went untreated for about a week on account of her abusive father, Ryan O'Neal, and the unhelpful Farrah Fawcett. It might take time, whichever treatment is given.
