Placenta hominis, aka human placenta, aka Zi He Che.

 

Human placenta primarily is classified as a Yang tonic herb (herb

that increases Yang in the body), but it also benefits Kidney Jing

(Essence). Its taste is sweet and salty, and its thermal energy is

warm. (It has a warming effect on people who are too Cold.) It

enters the Liver, Lung, and Kidney channels.

 

" Tonifies the Liver and Kidneys and augments the essence; for

infertility, impotence, spermatorrhea, low back pain,

lightheadedness, and tinnitus from insufficiency of kidney qi and

debility of the essence and blood.

 

" Augments the qi and nourishes the blood; for emaciation, pallor,

and/or insufficient lactation due to exhaustion of qi and blood.

Also used for unremitting seizure disorder.

 

" Tonifies the Lung qi and augments the Kidney essence; for wheezing

due to deficiency of the lungs and kidneys. Especially useful

between acute attacks or consumption with night sweats, emaciation,

and debility, as well as shronic cases of wheezing and cough. "

Cautions and contraindications: Don't use alone for heat from yin

deficiency, and use cautiously over long periods. (p. 353.) Also,

this one has some toxicity.

 

Zi He Che has an " exceedingly complex " chemical composition. (p.

353.)

 

There are several ways that Zi He Che can be taken. A power, the

fresh placenta made into a soup, and a solution injected into

acupoints. Bensky and Gamble mention injection into acupoints (like

Bladder 13)for severe asthma. Also in the treatment of " severe and

recalcitrant " chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. (p. 353.)

Can I get your recommendation on this, is chrysocor safe to use,

based on what you think?

 

How long should I use it for if its safe, Im looking for a cure more

then temporary relief, do you think this would help with the process.

 

I've read that its an isopathic treatment, but really don't know what

that means.
