We've had several new members join recently. recently has

added a new feature to joining lists. You're asked to tell why you

want to join this group. I like this because it makes it easier for

me to get an idea of members specific interests.

 

First, the general info: The earliest posts in the message base are

designed to walk those new to TCM through the basics. List members

range from those who are brand new to TCM to students to health care

professionals (both TCM and Western health care professionals).

Posts range from very basic information to more complex issues. Some

of the TCM students use the early posts for review.

 

Advertising is NOT allowed on this list.

 

Please ask questions. Chances are someone else on the list has the

same question, but is too shy to ask. Please post on areas of

specific interest to you. The interests on this list are very

diverse.

 

The message base has a search function (though I'm not all that

impressed with it - hope improves it). There have been posts

on psychiatry and TCM, CFIDS, asthma, arthritis, diet, acupressure,

and massage. (People specifically have asked about these when they

told why they wanted to join the list.) You may want to search for

depression to get the posts on psychiatry and TCM. (Some of which

also contain info on psychosis, anxiety, etc.) There is an

acupressure.com website that many have found useful. If you go to I

believe the articles section on that website, you can view some

sample chapters from Michael Reed Gach's book Acupuncture's Potent

Points.

 

There also is an acupuncture.com website with a lot of excellent

articles on a variety of TCM topics.

 

There is only a little bit in the message base on this list about

veterinary TCM. Hopefully new members will add more.
